OP is none other than Meles tho!OP has a Djokovic avatar.

That is my Djokovic agony of defeat avatar and might as well keep it on for a while. Nole looking good for Shanghai, but most interesting draw chock full of NextGen fodder until SF with future 2020 year end #1 Mad Lad.OP is none other than Meles tho!
Looks like Khach and Zedrot are smelling a WTF birth and finding form. Berrettini with a beautiful draw in Shanghai back in contention in a big way; R16 showdown with RBA for all the marbles.Time to give your boys a "pep talk" like Fed and Rafa did. Get them going for 2020.
I truly hope your hardwork pays off and you finally get it done @Meles . Rooting for ya.

This is just an awesome WTF year end race for the Diamond Age sweep; I'm glued to tennis right now.

Goofin just got crushed by Djoko today and now Fed R16. If RBA goes down, LostGen hopes all riding on Flabbio.

What did you just call me?It seems Federer fans like this thread.
This will never get old
It's been photoshopped.
I actually caught the ball between there.
The Big 3 threads are irrelevant digging up fossils from the past right and left.'Former pros' who are the number 1, 2, and 3 players in the world, yes. Not quite irrelevant just yet, but how many more generations of players can they possibly render so?
I predict Thiem as 2020 YE#1, not Med. But I may be wrong. That is my Djokovic agony of defeat avatar and might as well keep it on for a while. Nole looking good for Shanghai, but most interesting draw chock full of NextGen fodder until SF with future 2020 year end #1 Mad Lad.
What?I predict Thiem as 2020 YE#1, not Med. But I may be wrong.
Why? I think he can still improve his level. What?
I see the opposite. I see him falling outside the top 10 and possibly the top 20.
Who?Fedr
I think his game has not improved, nor his mental level, his scheduling, his motivation, and everyone else is starting to catch up to him. I hope I am wrong, but I see a rough 2020 for him. Why? I think he can still improve his level.
He did win Indian Wells this year. Although he was a bit worse on clay this year, I think he’s improved on being a multi-surface threat. His grass play is still a sore thumb tho.Who?

Maybe he will pick it up here the rest of the year. Think he just made the final of beijing. But has done nothing off clay since IW.He did win Indian Wells this year. Mad Lad is a stats juggernaut.I predict Thiem as 2020 YE#1, not Med. But I may be wrong.

Yep, as you were writing this it sounded like Wawa's career. But I don't even see him reaching the FO final next year. But maybe he will find his groove at 250 tourneys while everyone else is playing Olympics...He has the most physical, niche and high risk (off clay) game on tour. The other bashers are catching up and he’s dropping. His all court, net stuff still sucks and he’s redlining and relying on DTL BHs just to edge out Hatchetjob in Beijing FFS.
I see a fair bit of self loathing and self pity in his on court demeanour. It’s slowly dawning on him just how stupid he’s been. He’s on the burgers too which definitely doesn’t help anyone but especially a guy who needs every millisecond for his overengineered diesel powered strokes.
The problem is he’s stuck and it’s too late to change. If he took some write offs and accepted a ranking drop while sanitising the schedule and working on his game, it could be a good sign.
But as I’ve said before he’s been too stupid for too long and Rafa has done too much damage to him. While Rafa is around, Thiem won’t succeed.
I wouldn’t rule out a Stanimal-style career resurgence against post Nadal landscape after a few years thinking about it in the wilderness though.
