Ok he lost once to Nadal at the AO but let's remember how close it was.
IMO, the greatest HC player of all time is either Sampras or Fed (Fed for sure if he can win this year's USO).
Fed is definitely one of the best.. But I just dont see how Nadal is among the best on hardcourts to ever play the game. His strengths are more geared towards clay and slow grass at this point.
Just my opinion though. Fed definitely is one of the best to ever play on hards no question about it. Is he the "best ever" on Hardcourts? I dunno about that. Hes certainly up there though.
There are so many greats on hard. Tilden, Andre, Pete etc. Would these guys get consistently beaten by Nadal on hardcourt? I dont see it.
Whiile Nadal is definitely solid on the hards, I wouldnt categorize as him as a hardcourt legend yet. Thats for sure.
The hardcourt GOAT could be up in the air for a few players at this point
