It's definitely up there in terms of concentrated GOAT'ness. Top 2 GOAT candidates, 2 Clay GOATs and one of the peak play GOATs.

If you're going for the understatement of the year you're not too far off.

And truth be told Delon was a tad too light for the role. But Burt more than makes up for it with what was by his own estimation his greatest performance. And you really haven't seen the film until you've seen the magnificent ballroom scene on a big screen. I had a chance to do just that last summer in a packed theater, and though I had to watch standing up the whole time I honestly don't remember my legs getting tired, so absorbed was moi in the experience. Would love to do it again.
