Grip Shape on Head

I like the LM Rad but the rectangular shape of the grip causes me problems on my BH. It is great for the Eastern FH since the side bevels are longer than most.
I have been advised to put some tape on the 3 and 9 oclock bevels to square the racket shape..but won't this also make the grip larger.

Thanks, Ken

I am certain it will make it slightly larger.

Having said that, I always prefer to go by sense of feel more than just the numbers/statistics.

So my best suggestion would be to try adding the tape and see if it works for you.

And the best part, if it does not, the process is reversable.

Hope that helps,
John

You could always buy a grip size smaller then do this?
especially since all you'd have to do would be to replace the pallets

That's the good thing about Head : you can buy any racquet in any grip size or tweak around with your grip in any way you like and just replace the pallets if you need.

replacement pallets

Where do you get the replacement pallets?
Why do you think head made the grip in this shape. It's great for my eastern FH but my 1H Eastern backhand is very difficult.
There must have been a reason why they did this!!!!
Otherwise, I like the feel of the LM Rad OS
