I will be demoing:
Babolat Pure Strike 98 16x19 One7
Yonex DR98
Head Graphene Touch Speed MP (the one currently on sale)

Please recommend one more racquet to add for demo. Currently considering Blade 98 16x19, Yonex DR100.

I’m open to suggestions. Mid 30s, 4.0 player, 2 hand backhand, no prior arm issues but don’t want to develop any, some competitive play, but mainly recreational. Thank you

I've hit 2 of your 3, looks like a good list. I might opt for the Blade 98 16X19, the PS97 or Prince Textreme Tour 100P. I used the older version Ai98, the PS97 and Tour 100P. I've always liked the feel of the Blade as well.

Maybe Yonex DR 98+ or the Ezone 98 (New Version).

I like the extended length for my 2 hand back hand but at times miss the maneuverability. Great controllable power with the DR98+. I always wondered if the new Ezone 98 might of been a better fit or the standard DR98 though. If you do end up comparing them please let me know, even the Pure Strike vs DR98 I've been curious too.

DR9+ has great feel and returns pace with interest. Serve is a joy. Standard length did nothing for me.

Be interested to know if anyone else has broken one. I have stopped using all of mine till I hear back from Yonex

Here are your 3 racquets on the new TWU Racquet Performance Analysis Tool. The red is the Babolat, the green the Head, and purple the Yonex. The parameter chosen is power but all the others seen on the bottom of the screen could be accessed also, as well as any other racquets suggested above.

Thanks for your replies:

What about the DR100? - I see it as a top 3 favorite of some of the TW playtesters.

How do the Ultra Tour vs Blade 98 16x19 compar?

I’ve got some doubts about the styling of the Prince textreme tour 100p.

What about the blade 16x19, pro staff non-cv, DR100, or one of the other Yonex?

Or what else you got?

So if you tried them both, and the 100P played better than the Blade, would the black/green 100P start looking as good as the black/green Blade?

One of the demo specs was that the stick needs to be arm friendly. The Tour 100P is the most arm friendly compared to the Blade, Prostaff or the Yonex 100 if you trust the reviews and RA listings. Have hit with a friends Blade and the Yonex 100 - they are firmer than the Prince IMO.

The aesthetic is of course down to taste - I tried a full set of Hyper G in it and it looked fantastic - I sadly looked like I was having a mid life crisis with all the neon green.

Understand, I think its actually a cool looking racquet. Its an open pattern 18/20 and is a fantastic racquet. I tried the Ai100 when it first came out and it was a little stiff for me. Not sure how the newer versions compare though. I used the 2015 PS97 version for a little over a year and it was a fine racquet.

Op, a word of advice if you don't already know. The prince tour 100P is a soft and usable racket for most people. My only knock on it is how open the string pattern is. It may be an 18x20 but it plays like a 16x19 and doesn't have the best pinpoint control for these reasons.

If you want a soft, more controlled 18x20, then the Tecnifibre Tfight DC 315 ltd. 18x20 or 16x19 should be a good fit. They are easier to use in stock form than the ultra tour and can be made into real weapons with some lead at noon and 3 and 9.

The Yonex Ezone 98 is a great racket to try as well. Might feel light to some so feel free to slap some lead on it too if you want it to feel a little more beefy. Soft enough to feel minimal vibrations as well as being a forgiving and fun to use frame.

I’m the original poster. Thanks to your responses I now have too many good options:

1. Pure strike 16x19 98
2. DR98
3. Head graphene touch speed MP or the new version - does anyone know when that will be available? I’m interested in the on sale model b/c of the price, but reviews seem a little mixed with people saying underpowered. Thoughts?
4. Prince textreme tour 100P
5. Wilson Blade16x19 98 - reviews also seem mixed
6. Maybe Wilson Pro Staff non-CV - reviews also seem mixed

I’m trying to get this list down to four. I appreciate your thoughts/comments.

I’m sure the 93P is great. But I would prefer a 100 headsize. I’m willing to go 98 but my preference is a 100. I’m working on it, but I hit the frame a lot. I currently play a 95 headsize. So 93 just isn’t going to make my list, but thanks for the post!

Pro Staff -> DR 98 -> Blade 98 -> Prince Textreme Tour 100P -> Pure Strike for performance.
Prince TT 100P -> DR 98 -> Pro Staff -> Blade 98 -> Pure Strike for comfort. (Prefer the pre-CV Blades for comfort).

As you can see I didn't gel at all with the Pure strike. It felt like it didn't do anything really well and felt harsh. Actually much prefer the Pure Strike VS Tour of the Pure Strike line.

Pro staff cv or non-cv version?

I've played both and the RF97. Like the RF97 the best but a little too beefy for me. Performance is pretty similar between CV and non-CV prostaffs for me. Never played the non-CV long enough to get a comfort comparison. But generally I like heavier rackets.

My ideal specs seem to always end up 12 oz, 330-335 SW and sub 64 RA with a HL balance between 5 and 9 points. I modify by feel and that always seems where things feel the most right.

Pure strike 18x20. I get more spin and better control with it than the DR98 surprisingly.
Add as another or instead of the 16x19 which I found too unpredictable.
