From my experiences with the Graphite Edge and Composite Edge, the Composite is more flexible.
In fact, the Composite Edge was a racquet I could never truly appreciate. Although I owned two of them, and I liked flexibility, the Composite Edge to me just seemed too 'wimpy'. I recall thinking that it felt like a plastic racquet.
The Graphite Edge was 'stiff' for it's time period - but would be considered flexible today.
The Composite and Graphite Directors are, of course, from the same time period as the Composite and Graphite Edges (mid 1980s).
I'll just pip in here and say I own a Graphite Edge & Composite Edge. I hit with them every week end as a warm up and think they are the best racquets I have ever swung. Both are going to need new grommets by spring so I am going to try to piece something together. Right now, I am thinking about ordering a set of Grommets from a POG 90 and cutting them apart.
It sounds like you need a Composite Director to round out your collection - $30 shipped... j/k LOL!
Yepper, that's the stick. Is the headsize on it the same as the Graphite Director (102 sq. in.)?
Is it grey or mauve?
Thanks for posting the pic, BTW.
