Do you know the exact specs for this racquet?
Cuz I have Luxilon ALU Power Rough 16L but I don't know what tension I should go for.
They tell me to do lower tension, but I am not sure...
I used to use Wilson K Six One Tour 90 American Edition with 52 tension.

It must be around 346g strung with about 32.3cm balance and 330g SW
The sweetest stick I ever hit with

Thanks vsbabolat!
And others too.
One last question though.
Looking at the buttcap, it looks quite modern to me, and some say that the original Prestige Classic 600 from 1994 has the hologram type?
I just want to know if mine are the very first one to be made as Prestige Classic 600!
Thanks

Sir, the overall stick looks quite well preserved too, and you know how they tend to hit in the hoop - not the butt.

Full specs follows:
Headsize 93 sq
pattern 18x20
weight 12.31
balance 7 hl
ra 60
swingweight 323

Your butt cap has the black sticker that was first from 1993-1997. The first production of the Prestige Classic 600 was in 1993 and has a much larger white barecode sticker on the side that also has a clear coat over it. In 1998 the butt cap went the hologram sticker.

All right but SW is definitely low 330 :)

Hello again vs:D
Care to chime in and help me out?
Come across a made in Austria original radical tour 630 bumblebee(I think euro version, not the trisys 260)
Could you be knowledgable enough to tell which year it was produced?
It has the barcode that says 1168480, the code and the number haven't faded a little bit.
The barcode is fairly big, its width is about the same as the width of the HEAD brandname and MADE IN AUSTRIA font combined.
Seems that the barcode is under a layer of clear coat, but it's hard to tell in the pic.
The buttcap has a black sticker with the old head logo on it, not the shiny laser one.
Greatly appreciate your help!
(On a side note, this shows how a prestige loyalist transforms into a radical fan:rolleyes:)

Please take a photo of the barcode. There were several different styles that were used.

PC 600.... what a beautiful frame. Quite possibly my favorite frame ever. I'm jealous you have one.

Is there a version of the Prestige Classic 600 that was designed in Austria and made somewhere else? If so, how does it play compared to the MIA version?

Also, are there different specs for various Prestige Pro/TXP Pro/Prestige Classic/Prestige 600 & Prestige Classic 600? The TXP Pro feels considerably more HL in balance and feels a little lighter than the Prestige 600 with green grommets.

Yes, there's a Designed in Austria version, I believe they were build in Czech Republic, but I'm not totally sure, and I don't really know if they feel different

My PC 600 is just like the one from the first post on this thread, minus the buttcap

How does your buttcap look? Is it with the round Head sticker?

I have to take a look at it again, it's very faded, but I remember it's different (small Head logo)

I have that racquet as a collectible item, played with her a couple of times only

I'll post a couple of pics latter

Thanks! I guess there are versions with different fonts and subtle design changes. I appreciate it.

I just saw a Designed in Austria sell on the bay for a great price. Still many high priced ones out there, mostly designed in Austria not the made in Austria ones. If you keep watch you can snag one for a pretty good price.

Super solid racket. It'll tell you where you game is lacking :)

To the OP, those look very nice.

Yup it's real. It was made late 1994/early 1995
Is there a big difference between the Tour designed in Austria and the classic made in Austria? Got one of the former in good condition for cheap :)

The Prestige Tour has the suspension grip while the Prestige Classic has the tradition pallet. With the Prestige Tour the hairpin is suspened inside the pallet with these rubber strips. It feels even softer and more muted than the Prestige Classic. I have Prestige Tour Made in Austria. All Prestige Tour and Prestige Classic were manufactured in Austria even if there’s Designed in Austria on the frame. They are great racquets and one of the best racquets ever made. They hold up very well in the modern game.
