I have the Yonex DR 98 with RPM at 55 pounds and I feel like my strings will probably break soon so I was wondering if out of the following which strings are the best for me personally and at what tension (mains and crosses) you would recommend? (My stringer has limited stock).

I have an aggressive baseline game style if that helps anyone.

1. RPM Blast
2. Solinco Hyper G
3. Luxillon ALU Power
4. Luxillion 4G Rough
5. Yonex Poly Tour Pro
6. Yonex Poly Tour Spin

What makes you think your strings will break soon? How many hours have you played with this string set?
I would try any of those but string at 48#

Poly tour pro at 40lbs was absolutely brilliant for me in my DR+. But since you play rpm blast at 55 you’ll probably hate it.

Poly reveal its true magic at lower tensions. I’d go withbthe previous poster and suggest that you give a poly a try under 50lbs.

my advise,
try one you havent tried before!
as long as price is the same
soo many strings out there, you have to try a few to know what you like best
as for tension,, i would not change it if your ok with 55lbs, your trying to compare strings
change 1 thing at a time

I think Alu is the most boring of the bunch for what it's worth. I would go with any of the others and as other posters suggested, drop some poundage.

RPM Blast Rough if you want to spend more cash than you need to on polyester strings.
Yonex if you'd like to save some money

Try RPM at 48#. See how you like it. Then try others.

If you aren't a string breaker, then how long do you play with RPM in your racquet before re-stringing?
