How long was your longest set?

Played yesterday.

1st took an hour and a half.

Managed to play another 45 minutes before the lights switched off (it was at night). Didn't even finish the second.

Calories burned: 1700 (my opponent was wearing a Fitbit).

ToI'm tired!

My longest game counting ping pong was 37-35. After that day, I made a rule, 20-20 is a draw.

Rallies must have been very long as well as the games.

Yes, long rallies, some long games (one of them had well over 10 deuces).

There were two battles. The tennis itself. And the mental one. Tennis wise we were evenly matched, maybe I was even the better player (technically). Mentally he was simply stronger than me - he won the next set 7-6 too even though I had 3 SP (I choked). He is a better player overall and I learnt a lot about myself and what I need to do to get to the next level.

FYI

We played a set after that second set (with the match over). I demolished him 6-1. Need to learn to play my aggressive tennis in tight pressure cooker situations :)

I once played a set that was around 1 hours to 1 hour and a half long. The guy I played was a pusher, and I didn't have energy because I played a long match the night before. Other people went on after us and they finished before we finished the first set! Thankfully, I won that set 7-5, and won the second rather quickly by the score of 6-1
