How many Slams would Federer & Nadal have won, if there was NO Djokovic??

I was wondering how many Slams would Nadal and Federer have each won if Djokovic hadn't played Tennis?

Would they have racked up close to 30 slams each? Who would be ahead in the slam race, if there was no Djokovic?

Federer-

Nadal-

They have both lost several times to Djokovic in the final stages, so have missed out on slams directly because of him.

For instance, Nadal would have won at least 4 Australia Opens and 4 Wimbledons in total, while Federer would have definitely won more than 10 Wimbledons himself! Their overall records would be so much better and more rounded and complete, without Djokovic.

But what would be their exact tally overall and tally at each slam? It's something I have been wondering

There would have been a 3rd who stepped up - it’s nothing new or special. Either Murray would have not been injured or DelPo have had a longer career,… many new ways future could take turn - helmet head simply vultured 7-8 more slams than he deserved, covid really helped him retain ranks, injury and ageing demise of fed/rafa same would have happened to said 3rd,

UO 11 you have added to both . I think it would have gone to Rafa considering the form and matchup then. Rafa beat Fed in AO 12 SF pretty convincingly.

Roger was in better form & Rafa was serving poorly. If it was a potential 2010 match then without a shadow of a doubt I'd put Nadal as a favourite but not in 11.

Definitely by 24-25. I think the rivalry is what has kept them going.

Rafa suffering so much to play/win a slam only makes sense because of the slam race.

Yes, but Andy Murray and Juan Martin del Potro would have more as well. Djokovic beat JMdP a few times, and Delpo is younger than both Nadal and Federer.

True.. Murray has lost 4 AO finals to Novak I think. Also lost a FO final to him. Murray would probably be around 10 slams if not for Novak.

Novak has actually been a bigger tormentor for Fed and Murray as compared to Rafa.

And he's still a major pain in the ass for Rafa ;)

Nah mate. Nadal kept playing just for the sake of sport and the fact that he enjoys playing. He doesn't care about the slam record at all.

Are you being sarcastic here ? (Genuine question)
I feel Rafa is genuine in this statement, he does not even see helmet-head as a ‘rival’, he sees fed as more of a rival and shows due respect towards him in every single interview. Rafa meant what he said after RG.

Rafa definitely sees Novak as rival.
