How many times did you restring this year

The amount of info I get from you guys is amazing. I see more feedback on 50-100 different strings and hybrids. Thanks

Please give me a guesstimate on the number of string jobs this year.

The number was 8 for me.

I take your question to mean for personal use, 49 total. A fresh string job per tournament or USTA league match. Only 8 strings jobs broke during play.

I am curious how many one restrings for themselves if they have a stringer vs. if they do not have a stringer. I can surely bet an individual that has his/her own stringer probably restrings 2-3 times more.

That's definetly true. I would put the number even higher than that. It is that number of string jobs that drives a lot of people into stringing for themselves. Sometimes it is low quality strnig jobs, though. :(

5 or 6 per racquet. (I have 3 racquets) And only that much because I started using Natural Gut this year, and had played around with a few other combos (NG / SG, NG / Multi, X1 Biphase).

Before that, I only used various diffrent versions of NXT 16, and I only strung my racquets 3 times a year per racquet.

I have someone else string them for me, and I am not a string breaker.

I also wasnt a very hard hitter until this year either, so I was able to get away with old NXT strings for a much longer time until I would feel the urge to restring. (usually before the beginning of summer, fall, or spring)

Now I hit a lot harder, and Im hitting a lot more balls deep near the lines, so if my strings change on me enough it's hard to keep my game up because they will all go a bit out. I probally would string them more, but I cant afford that with Natural Gut.

i think around 30 times. got to try TONS of different polys and hybrids and had a lot of fun learning about what setups and tensions i prefer. i am actually still trying different strings (gosen polylon sp and unique big hitter right now), but i have to settle on something quickly for the upcoming tennis season!

About 45-50 times for myself. I dont' string for others although I have been asked to a couple times last year.

I have to restring, on average, about once every two weeks. In fact, I just broke a string this evening playing doubles. That racquet was strung 5 days ago!! So, I'd guess about 25 string jobs this year.

If i am not trying a new stick it would be once a week. But when i am using a new racquet it is more like 4 times a week until i get the right combo. So i would guess that this year i strung at least 80 times.

For me 2 a week, at least, sometimes 3-4 when I am in tournaments so 140-150 for myself, when including customers maybe 200-250 total.

Around 20 for me. Half of the restringing happened during summer when I was trying out a lot of different strings.
