If Rafa wins one more title in 2013

If Rafa wins more title in 2013, it will be the second year that he won 10 or more titles in a season. He would join Connors (4), Lendl (4), McEnroe (3), Federer (3), Nastase (2), and Borg (2) as the only players to have achieved this.

I think most impressive would be that he would have achieved this 8 years apart. Lendl also did this. After that Connors and McEnroe did it five years apart.

It is indeed an amazing accomplishment and a testament to his diversity, but Djokovic to some degree has done the same with grass. Federer did the same with clay. Three of the Big 4 are able to interchange their game and make it work on all surfaces. Only two of them Big 4 have come through with major titles on all surfaces, however.

Nadal is still lower than Federer in diversity, but equal or just above Novak.

Certainly would be an elite group to join, but considering that the surfaces only suit his game less and less from here on out, this still has the capability to become a serious jinx thread.

nole also done it in 2011

I think he's only listing players who've done it twice, Nole having, as you correctly stated, only done it once thus far.
