I want to buy a replacement TC97 but the Angell website says they don't have any. Emails to their contact and also directly to Paul Angell were met with silence. Is Angell not in business any more?

nope - they are still very much in business.
the response is slow - maybe because it is summer holiday in the UK... lol

I spoke with Paul on messenger about a week or so ago. Sometimes they don't answer right of way but Angell is certainly in business!!

Have been trying to reach them on FB messenger and angell email address on their website without much luck. Is there a different email or fb contact that I should be using ?

In my experience they just don't generally respond to emails or messages. Some people say they do, but if you're unlucky then you'll be someone they just ignore.

I had a friend who wanted to buy one of their racquets to try out but gave up after leaving several emails / messages and getting no reply. It's a very small business and unfortunately this type of thing happens a lot with those.

V4 TC line is now available...time to impulse buy more sticks. And to pretend I'm going to sell more racquets but justify keeping them so the collection continues to grow

Hmm, was considering TC 95 as a potential replacement for a blx 6.1 95. Guess my search for a replacement needs to go elsewhere. Fully customizable rackets with unreachable customer support is hard to work with. Delayed or automated response, I can totally understand but no response is odd.

I have exchanged 20-30 emails with Paul over time, spanning back as far as 2015 (and up to 3-4 months ago). Both to ask for advice and to request specs on used frames I both elsewhere. Reply times varied from 1-4 days but no email was ever left unanswered.
The correct email is paul (at) angellsport (dot) com. Facebook works too.

Yes i can understand, I’m still waiting for the Wilson sporting goods CEO & their racquet designer to get back to me on why my frame says it weighs 305g & in reality it’s 294g. Not heard anything, it’s been months.

I hope they do another Slazenger cosmetic Angell frame. Particularly the Trinity cosmetic from circa 2003.
