Now we have Nadal who will be the greatest claycourt player of all time with a chance to become the GOAT in the next years. It would be great for claycourt tennis if the GOAT plays his best on clay. Everyone would consider claycourt tennis higher if the greatest player ever on clay is also the GOAT. If you love claycourt tennis you should wish that Nadal ends up as the GOAT.

2nd There is no such thing as GOAT! this has been discussed over dead mosquitoes and you can't simply define or proclaim someone as GOAT, not unless if you have a time machine and have the greats of every era compete on a single tournament whilst there are on their prime.
