It's now on the Yonex Website! VCORE Pro EMERALD

Its the "HD" model (second from the left on the chart). It doesn't explicitly say 18x20 but that is traditionally what Yonex HD models have been

Do you know if it is still 8 mains in the throat? I really hope they switch to 6 like the vcore would open the pro line up to be an even better racket IMO

Yeah, probably going to game this one. 'Nuff said. Gone are the days of trying to like the newest Yonex frame, like the EZONE 98 and VCORE 98. I will say that the VCORE isn't bad, but I gave one to my wife.

I get what you said. Most HD rackets have been 16x20. It would be interesting if they keep the 16x20 or go 18x20 for this racket. I would think 16x20 since that has been their history.

Looks gorgeous. Link doesn't work for me on phone for some reason. Can someone post specs for all lines here?

So reading through it, its the same racquet as the current version it just added some gel in the handle. The specs are comparing it against the older orange pro model.

I would scoop up the ones that are on clearance....I may grab one or two more before they disappear.

So a new paint job and some gel...Glad they didn't change it honestly. The current gen is perfect.

yup, agree with a lot of the above statements, some good, some bad changes
the changes are drastic from what I can see
its going to put extra pressure to get older models on the used market
their messing too much with a good thing imo
I liked the 16/20 pattern, now that's gone!!, now its 16/19 or 18/20

The article in the link specifically states that Stan the man will be using the new Vcore Pro in preparation for the U.S. Open at the Rogers Cup. I'm a skeptic and I'm going to assume it will just be a pj, but that's a bold statement from Yonex to say he will be using it.

Interesting that it's launching in the States before JDM, obviously to coincide with USO.

According to the OP from the other thread, they did change the mold slightly in the throat.

See my question and his answer here.

It is just my impression or the head looks more oval than isometric?
I thought too but looks like actual rackets are more square since someone posted actual rackets at the other thread.
looks like it's just graphic work which made more rounded shape of head like AI but I don't think it's like AI shape from actual pics.

Well, all I can say is I asked a question of the OP, and he answered. He had both frames on him, I did not, so I had to take his answer at face value.

LOL, he doesn't have them too. He merely request photos from his friend.

I wish the VCORE Pro would go to a 95. Something about the 95 in the isometric head shape is just right for OHBH; just ask Stan and Shapo. The lineup could be something like this:

1. 97 at 320 with 16x20
2. 97 at 305 with 16x20 (low weight for customization)
3. 95 at 315 or 320 with 16x20
4. 100 at 300 with 16x20

Food for thought. Keep the beam at 20mm and the balance about the same. I'd go with the 95 if it was setup this way. First, I'd like to demo a VCORE 95 and see how it stacks up against the VCORE Pro 310 and my VCORE 98.

Man. I was ready to switch from the DR98 to either the Ezone98 LE or Clash 98, but I'm going to wait a little longer now. There seems to be a lot of good frames coming out: Blade, Gravity, Pure Strike, and now the VCore Pro. If this thing plays as good as it looks, it will be hard to resist.

I can attest that the Clash 98, the Gravity Pro, and the current blue/orange VCP are all excellent sticks.
