Well fought Tiafoe

I was happy Isner got through otherwise we would have seen a Brit facing Novak in 4 R, with Gasquet out as well

Big win for Tiafoe! He too is an up and comer for the U.S. men's tour players! I think he is a college guy too!

I got it wrong John came through with a win over Tiafoe! I listen and took it wrong!

Wow, did I just see Isner win TWO tie-breaks?? Is he finally back??? :D

This one has got to really hurt for Tiafoe but he's young and it's all part of the rich tapestry of tennis experience. He will learn how to close out matches better as he matures.

Must admit I got hopeful in the TBs due to Isner's poor TB record this season. Unfortunately the pressure seemed too much for Tiafoe :(

Pathetic move on ESPN when Tiafoe clearly did not want to be interviewed.

They hyped and killed Harrison, Oudin, Cici Bellis.

Seemed a bit insensitive. But I guess at the end of a great contest like we just saw, they wanted to hear the thoughts of both guys. Kudos to Tiafoe for agreeing to talk to Gilbert at all.

ugh why do on court interviews with the losing player? They obviously just want to get off the court. Cringe

Yeah when Del Po took out Djoker at the Olympics, Djoker walked off the court saluting the crowd with tears in his eyes. I can't imagine how hard it would have been for him to be interviewed right then and there.
