Dr Fuentes is a very nice doctor.
How the HELL do you work that out. maybe you just make a blind assumption going by age but you are very wrong my friend.
06-08 was young boyish djoker ( Just kid having a good time)
09-10 he tried to figure out what he wanted in his game and hired martin (It didnt work and backfired and messed him for two years)
10-11 he not only started to get his game back but his confidence
2011- The start of pre prime djoker (he becomes a professional and a man)
2012- PRIME DJOKER
In 2007 he was already winning m1000(Miami and Montreal) and reached the final of the USO. In 2008 he won the AO and won IW and Rome. That is the start of his prime. Now, 2011 is when his peak years started.

So if your 17 or 18 and you win some tournaments does that mean its your prime? Thats flawed logic. 06-07 he was a diamond in the rough with more errors in his game than now, how can that be described as prime. As for peak, say he wins four slams one year what would you call that?

You honestly think Djokovic is in his pre prime stage at 24 after having a season like this??? Just accept that this is peak Djokovic we are witnessing right now. Also what's with the baby nonsense?? You crack me up sometimes gj011.

Well, considering he was actually 20 at the time, yes, He was in his prime. He'd say that himself, that starting in 2008 he was at the level he needed to be to win majors, hence why he WON a major..
He won that major because of his freakish child prodigy like talent but niot because it was his prime. Like anything in life you get better with experience 08 too him was like when your first learning too drive then eventually you get better hence 2011.
A player's prime isn't based on one season. It's based on several for example Federer (2003-2007), Sampras (1993-1997), Borg (1976-1981) etc. I think what you're referring to is a player's peak . As of right now if Djokovic can better this season in 2012 than that season will be his peak year and his 2011 will go down as one of his prime year seasons. I define peak as the best a player ever played or achieved in any sport.Your saying he is in his prime as you don't think he can co better than this, but if he next year he wins 3 slams or wins all four just for example then what level would you call that Ultra prime? Lol.
Yet another excuse. You should write a book about why Djokovic will never actually lose a match, and how he's never actually in his prime, instead winning majors while walking around like a cripple.
It was his prime, you don't win a major when you're not at the onset of your best years. If his 'freakish child prodigy like talent' (a hint, all pro's have that type of talent, otherwise they wouldn't be pros) is all it took to win his first major, why hasn't murray won it? I mean, Murray is maybe even more talented than Djokovic... Why hasn't Tsonga won a major? He's got virtually every shot in the book..
Good thing majors aren't won by talent alone.. because if they were, Djokovic would have more. He worked hard to put himself in a winning position, and you're actually being a bad fan by taking that away from him.

So when Thomas Johannsen won the AO it's because he was in he best years of his life yeah prime Johannsen. You can win a major when everything just falls your way hey look how fed won RG if nadal never got injured and lost to soderling it would of been a cold day in hell for fed to win RG.
Whether 2008 was part of Djokovic's prime or not is almost too early to tell in a sense. If Djokovic keeps up anything close to his 2011 for another 2-3 years, then it becomes obvious 2008 was definitely not part of his prime though. It is laughable some poster said 2011 wasnt even part of his prime though, LOL!
If you're referring to me, I was only being sarcastic... it just seems to me djokovic2008 is calling it pre-prime or something.. which is ludicrous. It's not like the guy can actually somehow pull off a lossless season..
Has that EVER happened, for ANYONE?
