i heard somewhere that im not supposed to snap my wrist, but when I do I get an amazing fast perfect spinning kick serve, snapping wrist like doubles the pace (no exageration), why should i not snap my wrist?

EDIT: in the threat on wrist motion in kick serve under me
there is no mention of wrist motion except for in one post...

{What wrist motion are you talking about, tennis_nerd22? I exclusively kicked my serve for almost a year (no comment about why I'm trying not to any more in this thread) and I never had any wrist. It was a completely un-snappy stroke, at least for me. Admittedly, I did kind of have a strange sort of ending, much like what TennisMastery's article refers to as that of the "American Twist."}

Wrist snap implies a forced action. The use of the wrist in the serve is natural and flowing as a result of the correct swing. It is not forced! The forearm pronation contributes to a lot of the pace you are probably talking about.

make sure you have the correct arm swing (throw the buttcap upwards like a baseball) and you should be set.

If you are not sure if you are doing it right, post a video and ask a specific question about it.

There are many previous threads on "wrist snap" and "pronation" so i suggest you check them out until you have a clear understanding of it all, but stay critical when you read the posts as some members give misinformed information in their posts.
