Kyrgios pulls out of Rotterdam 2017 in order to attend NBA All Star Game

Sounds good to me.
Let him tell all of his favorite NBA players how he would be in prison if it weren't for tennis.

In his comments since the suspension Kyrgios has talked about taking some time off and coming back ready for the new season. Irrespective of the basketball game, not playing Rotterdam after the tanking episode seems like commonsense. It's more important that he gets his mindset right in the longer term than that he plays a tournament that's meaningless to him out of obligation.

The hate on this guy from people on this forum is more worrying than what he actually does. Some people just have enough time to spend. Judging and hating all the time....you should get paid for that.

So you'd rather be a spectator for a sport you probably won't ever play professionally, than actually perform professionally in a sport you are very talented in?

If I was a 21 year old millionaire pro athlete, I'd probably love to take the week off to party it up with a ton of celebrities, young ladies, rappers, and other pro athletes.

Consider the alternative is getting ousted in the 3rd round of some boring B grade tournament.

Priorities and sacrifices man. They come with being a professional athlete. The operative word being professional.

Well hes made enough money now. If he's smart with it, he can do what he wants, when he wants etc.

This is why pro athletes get paid too much money to begin with. You get one year as a top guy, if you are smart and you're set for life and you can goof off and do what you want the rest of your life

NBA is a tier 1 sport with arguably the best athletes in the world. I haven't seen anything to indicate that he's anywhere near the same echelon as those guys. Not even close.
Maybe he can make it as a bench warmer of something.

He should try to get in the NBA for real. Pay's a lot better and he obviously enjoys it more.
LOL
he's never making an NBA roster.

Everyone keeps saying that if kyrgios loves basketball so much more than tennis then he should go play basketball. The truth of the matter is that kyrgios is stuck with tennis...unless he wants to play basketball in bumfuck eastern europe.

He'll make enough money from tennis to live comfortable while having no pressure to produce big wins.

So Krajicek kicked him out of the tournament, or what? :D
That's about the first decent decision ever made by Krajicek. Not joking, as he's just about as much of a ***** as is Kyrgios.

He's an **** with a Slam title though. Will Kyrgios end up the same?

Whatever, it doesn't make Krajicek anything less of an annoying ***** all the same.
Oh man... that 'entitlement', that "Look At Me, I Am A GS Winner And The Tournament Director"- posture he continuously shows in the press over here...
Ever been there in person at the ABN/AMRO tournament at all? I have...

If he's smart with it

Why would you give him that benefit? His iq is half his first serve speed.

He could make it in the nba if they wanted him to. All he has to do is run into guys and the refs will put him on the line like lebraun.
