I have a theory.
If people watched that video before tennis, even just casually, they would develop clean, perfect stroke models. Then they could improvise and build on that foundation with some more modern finishes, stances, grips, etc.
I'm going to have my little ones watch it. I know they'll dig the music since that 80s new wave/pre-alt/punk influenced-yet overproduced sound is more popular now that it was in the actual 80s. I just have to tell them Forever the Sickest kid or Panic at the Disco did all the tunes, LOL!

Oh, and my other theory...
how cool would it have been to see a video of Vitas and Borg practicing? Later 70s rock. Some upbeat jazz of that time during a Vitas up/Borg back rally. Nothing too dorky, but some flute loops and some rhythmic drums over a hypnotic 50 or 100 shot rally.
We've gotta get on that, BNO! The technology is there, my friend.
I'd even watch one with Rog and Raf or Grigor and Raonic.
How about a vid with Pete and Becker with accompaniment by Smashing Pumpkins, U2 and Nirvana?

Guys...you're making way too much of the "bad blood" or "feud". It's LONG dead. Yes, Mac still thinks Lendl is a weirdo (he is), yes, Mac will always annoy Lendl (his antics are annoying), but they've gotten along, on the odd occasion when they run into each other fine; both have said so.
They're never going to be best buds (or at least odds are against it), but, they're both grown-ups now, and my impression is that they are both basically decent people, who are comfortable in their own shoes. That's better than say genuine-jerk Connors!
PS. The video you're talking about was produced by John Yandell....I believe it was filmed in an afternoon or something, in a warehouse.....it is a nice little vid, short and sweet. I have a copy around somewhere.
