its all what you think cause they should give about the same control cause they are practically the same string but the roughs give more spin. Hopes this helps

I have tried both these strings and currently using the ALU Rough.

I can say that from my experience, the ALU Rough provides more control. This is because my game relies a lot on spins and since the ALU Rough is designed to grip the ball more, I can get more control on my shots this way.

With that being said, there is no such thing as a completely "flat" game. Therefore, spin will either be a dominant or minor part of your game.

With spin-friendly strings, you can create better angles and short angles, which in turn dictates how much potential control you have over where you want to hit the ball. "Potential" just means that it's possible to have your shot land in a certain spot inside the court IF you can execute it.

How much "control" your strings provide does NOT mean that you all of a sudden have pin-point accuracy and the precision of a God, that requires good techniques.
