maintain tennis shoes with mesh

my last pair of white asics GR5 became very dirty because of the clay/dust in the white mesh. it is tough to get the dirt out of the mesh by simple cleaning. any idea how to maintain white mesh shoes?

I use antibiotic soap with some water and an old toothbrush and scrub - you can beat it back for a while but the dirt always wins in the end.

thanks. the thing is the dirt gets inside the mesh. mesh shoes are nice but not easy to clean..

Get a garden hose and put a spray nozzle on it. Spray the heck out of your shoes in the mesh and let it dry overnight.

I do this as well with Vapors after gruelling HarTru sessions, ol' water hose works wonders.
