Juan Carlos Ferrero is also an Aquarian. He's an elegant one that to the best of my knowledge didn't do much racquet-smashing.

Also, I thought Ferru was a Taurus.

Yeah thats the thing. Aquarians I've met are usually have a pretty calm temperament although be quite passionate if its something they care about (Animals, Zen/Spirituality, stuff like that)

Taurus is April/May. Ferru is born on April 2nd so he falls into March/April which is Aries. It certainly explains his tenacity on the court and his ability to find another half gear when he needs it.

I thought it would be fun to do this considering some astrology signs really dont have any great or semi great players. Why do some like Scorpio, Libra, and Aries have so little success collectively?

I'm into astrology and thanks for this post. I'm also a Scorpio so checked out Ken Rosewall's wiki page, I don't know why some of these signs aren't as good as the others (collectively), but this guy won 8 Slams and most impressively played till he was 43! Roy Emerson won 12 Major singles titles. People born under this sign tend to be very individualistic so tennis would seem a natural fit. I guess they haven't been able to have anything close to this success in the Open Era.

I've always thought Rafa was the quintessential Gemini - the sign of twins or dual personalities. He's one person on the court and completely different off it.

Very interesting.

I like so many of these Virgos, notably Guga, Berdych, and Feliciano.

Who is that Rafa fan who used to keep posting before each major/masters "Roger will win. It's written in the stars" ?

Even his sunsign confirms that Ralph is two faced.

But does it say anything about his one-dimensional game ;):)

It isnt tennis related but I play Handball with a group of guys on weekends in the morning and honestly of all the guys there the Scorpio IMO is the best player there ( We got 1 Saggitarius, 2 Taurus, 1 Virgo, 1 scorpio and I'm the libra) Hes a good tactician, best server, decent power on shots, finesse/touch when finishing a point.

He's also quite stoic but gets dissappointed when he doesnt execute. I'm of the notion that Scorpios and Virgos are the perfectionists of the 12 regardless of ability or form. They are highly individualistic which really does embody tennis.

Boris Becker is a Scorpio.

Libra is well represented, and quite balanced (singles, doubles, mixed) on the women's side; Navratilova, Hingis, S. Williams.

Becker being a Scorpio can be argued either way. Some sites cut off Scorpio at November 22nd while others on the 21st. The site I used to research names gave me Becker as a Sag.

The best thing I could say is that Becker has a good chance of being a cusp. Possibly the most powerful and distinctive one.

Yeah the Libra's on the women's side certainly make me feel proud to be one.

How are the stars aligning for Federer this week, would he be reaching final ? anyone who knows astrology ?

Heres something I found just for giggles.

Federer 2013 Summary

Roger Federer may suffer due to health complications of Roger Federer's spouse. Roger Federer will find it difficult to adjust with Roger Federer's associates and seniors. Progeny related problems are on the cards. The native faces hardships in every sphere of life. Silly quarrels, misunderstanding and arguments in love life or married life are seen. There will be disagreement with Roger Federer's life-partner and family members. Health problems are also on the cards. Mental control is very much required during this period, as Roger Federer may desire to do something unethical.

August 26th - September 26th (Fed specific during days that fall into USO)

This is a period of financial stability for Roger Federer. During this period Roger Federer can work over Roger Federer's hopes and ambitions and give them a better shape. This is a favorable time for love and romance. Roger Federer will develop new friendship which will be very rewarding and helpful. Roger Federer will enjoy respect and honor from learned people and will be quite popular with the opposite sex. Long distance travel is also indicated.

Rafter , Edberg , Blake on that list, so classy/gentlemen players ? The first two have won the sportsmanship award and Blake won the AA humanitarian award IIRC.

You sure Nalby and Raonic were born in the same sun sign as the above ?

Capricorn - Dec 21st - Jan 20th

Milos - Dec 27th
Nalby - Jan 1st

Classy/gentlemen players sounds about right. All sun signs have dark versions of themselves based on different social factors.

Andre Agassi is a Taurus and Adolf Hitler was a Taurus. It doesnt make the sign bad its just different individuals reflecting poorly on others of the same Sun Sign.

For those that care about American Tennis. Here are players with little or no breakthrough into the spotlight within the top 300.

Leo - Bradley Klahn, Donald Young, Tennys Sandgren (I love this name), Denis Kudla

Capricorn - Tim Smyczek, Steve Johnson

Taurus - Michael Russel, Brian Baker

Libra - Robby Ginepri, Jack Sock

Aquarius - Alez Kuznetsov

Scorpio - Wayne Odesnik

Aries - Rhyne Williams

Cancer - Bobby Reynolds

Pisces - Daniel Kosakowski

Gemini - Austin Krajicek

In the last 10 years of Grand Slams we've had a american taurus and a virgo (Agassi,Roddick) win a slam. It makes you wonder which sign will win one next and if we'll ever have a 3-8 slam men single's champion again.

Agassi and Hitler both Taurus? I thought Hitler was an Aeries all this time. Not surprised with Agassi, feet firmly on the baseline ground.

I've also always thought so. The Gemini I've known are also people of high energy levels and seem to be good at anything they do.

Fed also seems a clear Leo.

Becker being a Scorpio can be argued either way. Some sites cut off Scorpio at November 22nd while others on the 21st. The site I used to research names gave me Becker as a Sag.

Boris Becker was born on November 22, 1967 @ 8:45am, Germany.

On October 24th, 1967 @ 8:44am (German time) the Sun entered the sign of Scorpio. The Sun stayed there until November 23, 1967 @ 6:05am (German time).

Anyone born between this window, local German time, is a Scorpio. 8:44am, October 24th - 6:05am, November 23, 1967.
