Mortens Nueroma Shoe Rec?

Hi TW,
I have an annoying Mortens Nueroma in my left foot. The doctor says I need a very wide toe box similar to crocs or birkenstocks shape. I am currently wearing the Wide version of Asics GR8 with the first eyelet unlaced. Have you ever had anyone with this problem and did they find a good shoe? My preference is for a solid tank like shoe (ex cages over vapors).
Any ideas?

That is tough! And even the Wide GR9s seem a bit snug sometimes while still a true 2E.

Some options you might want to take a look at:
- New Balance LAV 2E (this shoe definitely has the "solid tank" feel to me! I'd also take a look at the Ccoc CG1 but those are a D width)
- Babolat SFX -- wider fit, soft, good support

Let's start there -- hope that helps and is a good place to start!
