Mouse Pad Insoles

Just to share a tip with everybody...

In high school, I have went through a lot of tennis shoes. So instead of buying insoles, I took free mouse pads at my local library and cut them up to be used for padded insoles. Just put them under the original insoles. I think they work great. They wear down and become flat, but they are cheap to replace.

LOL I think you should join the cheap players club.

Problem: not everybody has access to free mouse pads.

Second problem: Usually I wear out the outersoles before I wear out the insoles. The only shoes I haven't done this on are the BIIs. A cheap mouse pad though wouldn't cut it for me as a replacement. Maybe in high school it would have but when you get older I am not so sure.

they don't fit in my size 14s :(

You can use them on the bottom of running shoes to make those strength training shoes for cheap as well.

Worst thread ever.

Insoles are cheap. This is almost as bad as people complaining how expensive dampeners are at $2.99 a pair.

I broke some shoelaces, so I went the the library and took some electric cords.
They're very strong, but a bit cumbersome to tie.

man...they mouse pads were free! Not then ones used at the library. But our library had mouse pads you could take home. Like for advertising to read. Our local college even gives out free ones to students. They have stacks of them.

i know...that would be really cheap if I did steal them. That would be wrong. HAHA!

For those of you who have larger feet than the standard (up to size 13) - go to a crafts store or Wal*Mart type store and buy a thin roll of memory foam material (sometimes this stuff is repackaged to be sold for kitchen uses like shelving liner) -

you can trace the soles of your old shoes - works when you have few choices
