maybe he needs some of djokovic's gluten intolerance medication if he wants to take his pushing to the same god tier level pushing as hisMurray is a pathetic loser, after 1st set he played so tired that it felt worse watching tennis....He is a pusher and always will be and who is lucky to win wimbledon at all.........
Murray has all the physical tools needed but is a mental midget. Peters has worked wonders with various sportspeople-most notably Ronnie O'Sullivan who is the most gifted Snooker player ever yet lacks mental strength. Sadly Murray is determined to be macho & bury his head in the sand about where his problem lies.
Lendl improved him greatly but could only take him so far because Murray is insistent on acting like a petulant child on court whenever anything goes against him-berating the umpire like a 5 year old throwing a tantrum at a teacher or their parents & shouting at his box who have no control over what is going on out there. His mind turns things like blisters into some insurmountable injury that he has to whine about-like at the Aussie open final in 2013-until he sorts out his problems upstairs he will not be beating Joker over 5 sets often, if at all.

I see most of the talk here about Djokovic but people are forgetting that it wasn't Djokovic who manhandled him last year in the SF.
True, nor was it the year before when he came out whining about why right before he came out & obviously couldn't cope with whatever was happening backstage & got blown off the court in straight sets by Dimitrov & looked about as lacklustre as he ever has done. However generally he has in recent years & is going to be be meeting Novak in slam finals or semis & that is the yardstick of mental & physical ability that he needs to aspire to.
It makes you wonder why only one side in a tennis match gets tired.
Yes but Murray needs to aspire to the best he can be. He shouldn't try to reach Djokovic's or anybody else's level but focus on himself.
For all the talk of Murray being a fitness King, it is always he is the one that does not have any energy left after 2 sets.
Rafa, Murray, Stan, Fed - even Ferrer does not have this abundance of energy that can be invoked on demand
Sure, but he should look at why Novak has turned from a very good player who had one slam & might or might not have won a one or two more, that constantly gave up mentally for years until he changed things round.
Novak won his first slam at age 20, Murray at age 25.You're understimate Novak big time here, which is not surprising, just sayin.Sure, but he should look at why Novak has turned from a very good player who had one slam & might or might not have won a one or two more, that constantly gave up mentally for years until he changed things round.
So just what exactly are we getting at here? Don't be subtle with it and come out and say it. Murray had played nearly 5 extra hours at RG this year. That equates to two shorter best of 5 matches so in reality, Djokovic went into the final having played 6 matches and Murray had played 8. But yea let's toss around BS conspiracies because the guy you didn't want to win did and have no other explanation except troll theories.
Well it took Djokovic a long time to reach that physical and mental balance and he just approaches things differently than Murray. Djokovic is the type who wants to win every match. He doesn't give half efforts like Murray was doing last fall or just focuses on one tournament. He wants them all. I don't think Murray has that type of insane concentration in him and that's why he shoudn't worry about Djokovic so much until he's across the net from him. That's why he should just get to his best level and focus from within imo.
He needs to develop that insane concentration and freakish stamina if he wants to win slams again. He had ability to win slams at one point in his career. He needs to get it back. The man that developed him into a slam winner is still likely the best person to do that.
