DAMNIT, a few days ago I added about 1.5oz of lead weights into the handles of my AG100s. That one modification was all I needed to fix my backhand and volleys. It was so solid, the feel was off the charts and the increase in maneuverability was unbelieveable. So now, like a genius, I went and took the cap off one to try and make the changes permanent by shooting some silicone sealant down into the handle. Before that, I needed to push my tissue-paper/fishing weight concoction down as far as possible so that it wouldn't rattle. GREAT IDEA. I ended up pushing it too far and somehow busted through the end of the handle and into the bottom of the throat, and now I've got a lead weight trapped in my throat with a huge wad of **** too far down the handle to pull out, AND I broke part of the racquet in the process. Oh well, lets me take advantage of the TW $100 aerogel deal
Anyone have any stories of by pure fault of their own, they managed to FUBAR something?
