Nothing surprising there as Indoor Hardcourt is by far Nadal's least favorite surface. Actually I think those score lines are very promising for next year, if he can push them like that on Indoor Hardcourt could you imagine what he would do on slower surfaces, in outdoor settings and in Best of 5 sets?

Meanwhile when it comes to Djokovic it was historically one of his best parts of the year and yet he failed miserably. Also the main difference is that Nadal fans didn't brag all year about Nadal while Djokovic fans bragged on a daily bases about their player and how he is undefeated, unbeatable and is going to dominate for the next 5 years.

Kinda unfair to start the clock with a loss in the semi finals. Makes it sound like he's on this big losing streak when you could also say that he's lost 3 of his last 15 matches.

And Novak's supposed to be better than Nadal at the YEC, so racking up 2 losses in 4 matches there is arguably a worse result than it is for Nadal.
