in his last 6 events. Disappointing that he is not even getting into quarters or semis and losing to top 10 ranked players.

And then people brag about his h2h vs the top guys. Wonder how it would look like if Nadal was able to have higher lows and atleast beat these nobodys.

Still has the best W/L ratio of all time, yes he's had some bad defeats (he's rusty and had appendicitis for some in 2014); but that doesn't define his career.
Nadal haters need to calm it.

It's not normal for Nadal to lose to players outside the top 50, he's had a few in the past year for various reasons; but it's not been the general trend.

Nadal haters predicted he wouldn't have a career after the age of 23, he's now 28, has 14 Grand Slams, and they wet themselves over a defeat in ATP Doha when he's rusty. LOL

From a Fed fan, do not listen to these classless guys.

Nothing is diminished in his 14 slam wins, he is still Rafa; he just isn't "Rafa" for 11 months anymore consistently.

That being said, he is still at a prime age and regardless of that he shouldn't be losing to these guys even if he is at 70%.

When was he? According to some of his fans here his peak is 4 months in 2008. Even in his best years he didn't play awesome 11 months in a year.

Agreed, these defeats were disappointing; but throughout his career he will have his share of bad days.

Rafa has played 13 matches since FO 2014 and losing 6 of them.

The highest seed he has beat is his pigeon Gasquet, seeded 21.

Lol but he won slam/masters every season. So much more important. The other top players have bad losses too.

I remember Rafa's peak. It was on a Friday, at around 15:26. Too bad he was already old and rusty by 15:27, considering he'd been a teenager up until 15:25...

He's back to being a claycourt specialist. Think early 2005. Full circle. Similar to ASV in her last years.
