Nadal USO favourite

Federer and Del Potro

It is Federer fans who troll and are the hypocrites then when found out cry and either run to the moderators seeking bannings because they lose the argument or accuse others of trolling.

I'm just stating facts. Nadal will win USO and it's a question of can he do it without losing a set like FO

Poor, rushed, and an overall just very sloppy revision.

Really expected better out of the young trolls of TTW.

Unfortunately this entry is even worse than your original.

You are delusional if u think Federer was injured.thats why he loses respect he can't handle a beat down like a man always crying injury or this year chickeningnout of entire parts of the season. Only this site seems to defend him . Go on atp tour website and see what's being said

That's hilarious. You are talking about nadal there, not federer. Nadal is the injury excuse master.

as far as the atp tour website comments are concerned, they must be coming from delusionals like you.

Anyone who saw the 2nd set b/w fed-zverev could see federer was not able to arch his back and not moving well at all.

No one in the history of the US open has won it without dropping a set... Good luck with that

If there are no Fed sightings in the next week I think he will be out of the USO really. Remember 2014 he was out several weeks and the WTF, then 2016 after Madrid he was out for quite a while. Even back in Wimby 2012 or 2013 he had issues, but I think I remember them saying "back spasms" instead of injury. He was younger and recoup'd better then, so we will see.

Anyway, I would put Nadal as a top runner for USO for sure, even with Fed in.

Fed lost because he can't handle a high bouncing hard court anymore ROLF

Yes, that must be it. Clearly the Sunshine double was a fluke. Remind me what your "USO Favorite" did there again?

You've got to be kidding me. He morally won both events. In reality, he nobly tanked to help this awkward, old, junkballer save some face.

Nadal should be favored over Fed. Fed hasn't been in early 2017 form since the clay season started. He's in ok forum but really winning by default - this field is significantly worse than when Djoker trounced all in 2015. Only Rafa is a legitimate slam contender next to Fed atm. I'm not convinced Fed can dig to repeat AO17

Nadal is definately a top 3 favorite alongside Federer and Zverev. He is in good form, playing with confidence but decent part of his favorism comes from the fact that the field is very depleted at the moment.

Djokovic, Wawrinka and Nishikori - all of them with huge success/expectations at the Open
Cilic, Raonic, Murray - would probably going to play but all of them are in very shady form and hardly they would pass the QF

So six from the top 10 favorities to win the tournament are out of the equation! Who exactly is going to replace them ?! Goffin obviously pushed his return from injury way too early and would hardly pass round 3. The only "real" lefts are Dimitrov, Kyrgios and Pouille and each of them seems in bad form

yeah, just like nadal lost in 5 sets vs Pouille , a youngster, last year ? :D
or like he lost in 5 sets vs fognini after being 2 sets up , the year before that ? :D:D

Federer was injured in the 2nd set vs Zverev. obvious you didn't watch much after your boy got kicked out by a 18 year old WC.

Federer will be back by the time of the USO --- 2 weeks is sufficient to heal and he'll be the favorite.

Last week you said Nadal is highly unlikely to win the USO. When he loses in New York, what will you say? That he should retire?
Everyone was saying Nadal should've retired in 2015 but look at him now Back to number 1
Everyone was saying Federer will never win another slam but look at him now on 19
Hahahaha

If Federer doesn't play then yes, Nadal is probably the betting favourite. Obviously that doesn't mean he'll win the title in a cakewalk either.

although he didn't get as far as Federer did the thrashing Federer took by Zverev means that on higher bouncing courts it's clear Federer is going to struggle.

Nadal lost a final set tiebreak and let's be honest had hat been a best of 5 he would have won the final two sets easily against a spent teenager.

I don't think Federer is injured I think he is trying to save face but if he is injured this close to USO then he has no chance of doing anything there.

The young guns aren't ready yet to challenge in best of 5 sets and with no Ultron Nadal has a great chance of winning the next thre majors before Zverev is fully powered up.

Bad defeat for Federer and reminiscent of Rome and Djokovics beat down.
I agree with you!!

Just noticed a lot of new users posting favorable comments for Nadal.

Whatever happened to the old Nadal faithfuls here?

Twitter tennis insiders are saying Roger's back injury is doing OK and he will start normal training on Monday:

Nadal is an absolute joke right now on hardcourts he isn't favourite for nothing based on this terrible form

Another Federer - Nadal major final might truly make me a believer of fixes happening at the top level.

Another? How many were there in the year? One major and one masters 1000?

With Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray having such a bad season struggling with injuries, what's surprising that of the three majors and seven masters, they played two finals?

Dear Feather,

Majors are Majors, Masters are Masters. I am only saying that Federer and Nadal contesting the USO in the final will be somewhat suspect in view of the vulnerability they have both shown.

The fact you quote Harry Potter shows your level of intellect I.e that of a 10 year old. Federer has claimed injurybehenever he lost or plain pulled out of matches and events if he thought he can't win. Done it is whole career. Don't get sucked in by his spin machine

If Nadal or Djokovic fans posted such pointless childish rubbish as you just did they would get banned. When you lose the argument have the good grace to admit it rather than get childish and taking the whole site to the level of a school ground whine. Or if you can't do that don't post at all.

Yes I probably will. Unless he lost to Federer in the final. Anything else I would consider a disaster .

I have always admired Nadal (and Federer and Djokovic) for their all court mastery. If Nadal has become a clay court specialist I would rather him retire as I hate players specialising or cherry picking events.i have circuses Federer for missing FO so I'm not going let Nadal off if he can't compete off clay.

Cincinatti doesn't worry me as Rafa has never played well there. In 2013 he struggled with a half fit Federer .

Montreal concerns me more but I'm not sure any of the Next Gen can yet take Nadal out over 5 sets
