Nadal v federer reality check

Here is why. At AO 2017, to date Federers only win over Nadal at a Major off grass, a far better Federer than now beat a far worse Nadal than now who was tired after almost a 6hr SF with a days less rest in 5 sets.

6 weeks ago Federer on his best surface took over 3 hrs beating a poor Nadal on his worse surface. Meanwhile at RG Nadal playing at about 70 per cent beat a federer red lining it with consumate ease.

All the evidence points to Nadal taking Federer down fairly routinely and id suggest wawrinka or medvedev will be a tougher final for Nadal should he make it.

You can wish all you want, but the reality is injured or badly out of form Federer will be Nadal's only hope off clay nowadays. Outside clay, Federer is 6-0 v Nadal, including 2 GS matches. The pattern has been always similar and that should be extremely worrying for Nadal - Federer is a horrifying match up v Nadal now off clay. And it's gotten worse since AO 17.

Lmao. I can tell you for a fact Nadal would rather face Federer than Medvedev. Im afraid Nadal thrashing Federer at Roland Garros is proof nothing has changed. Outside grass federer is Nadals bunny.

LMAO already preparing excuses. So if Federer loses he is injured or out of form? Haha.

There are good Federer supporters. And then there are fanatics. In the second group are those who can't accept Federer's losses to Nadal without putting excuses.

Imagine they finally meet at 38 & 33 years of age. And it's their last Slam meeting. Fed in 4 btw. And retires at year's end.

Both Federer and Nadal have chances to win. Federer's 38 and is long past retirement age and Nadal's had far more success at US Open the past decade.

20>18. Even factually, that is not wrong. Also, that was from a Nadal fan and a lot of Nadal fans quietly agreed, it seemed - AO 2017, the decider for GOAT status, that was to be it, no excuses. Can't change the past whatever you do.

But Nadal keeps winning lol so why the defeatist surrender by Federer fans...Nadal and Djokovic have buried Federer into 3rd place. Fact. Not opinion
