Name ten players outside of the top twenty that you really enjoy watching them play

Here are ten players outside of the top twenty (male) that I really enjoy and would like to see rise higher in the rankings; I am listing them based on highest current rank to lowest:

1. Tallon Griekspoor. He's fun to watch, has an engaging personality, and has a good solid game to build on.

2. Alexander Bublik. What I like most about him is his sense of humor and fun. I enjoy his post-match interviews immensely!

3. Tomas Martin Etcheverry. I love his vitality and his spirit. So much fun to watch!

4. Jiri Lehecka. He has a nice energy to his shots and has a steadiness to him.

5. Sebastian Baez. Just a wonderful presence, I think he has the potential to become a top ten player!

6. Ben Shelton. Hard hitter who once he learns how to reign it all in will eventually become a top ten player.

7. Botic van de Zandschulp. He is another steady player who occasionally is able to lift him game up and win important matches.

8. Martin Focsovics. It seemed like he was headed in the right direction into the top ten but his progress has fallen short. Here's hoping he can make some adjustments and get back on track.

9. Dominic Thiem. I so wish him well as he tries to regain his former glory. I feel so bad for him, he just doesn't play as well post-injury ):

10. Marc-Andrea Huesler. He can be frustrating as he flails about on the court but I really really like him and hope he is able to lift his game up.

I'll play the OP's intended game and not pick obvious former top players who all but retired. It's pretty tough, I had to check the ATP rankings for the latter couple of names but It does somewhat highlight how bare bones the tour is now, no huge names outside of the top 20, hell you could even argue top 10.

Ones that immediately came to mind:
Cilic
Berrettini
Korda
Shelton
Eubanks

Ones that didn't immediately come to mind:
Karatsev
D.Fokina
Coric
Goffin
Paire

Botic? LOL

One of the biggest chokes of the year, maybe the biggest. He shouldn't be anywhere close to the top ten with the way he melted in that final.

Guys, Dimitrov, Musetti and Tommy Paul are all in the top 20 :notworthy::X3:

The current top twenty: Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Jannik Sinner, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Karen Khachanov, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Tommy Paul, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Cameron Norrie, Hubert Hurkacz, Lorenzo Musetti, Grigor Dimitrov, and Francisco Cerundolo.

Struff. Love his big serve and game.
Coric. He's a scrapper and can pull of big wins now and then.
Etcheverry. He reminds me of random 90s clay players.
Korda. Love his flair.
Nishioka. Good rallies and hard to put away.
Kecmanovic. Love his groundgame and so much potential.
Kokkinakiis. For all the wrong reasons. He's often a let down. But when he's on, it's great. And he has a good connection with every crowd. People just want to cheer him on.
Garin. I like these super consistent players with solid groundstrokes. It's not flashy but I enjoy watching them ply their trade.
Daniel. Another solid and consistent player. Good VFM.
Busta. The prototype of the solid, consistent guy. I love watching him construct rallies.

I could have named a lot for the 90s and early to mid 00s but the combination of disappearance of specialists, seemingly less bizarre characters, and most importantly me having less time to watch smaller tournaments and early rounds I couldn’t give you a good list for today

Should make a list of players one does NOT like to watch.

For me

JJ Wolf
..the older enhanced Spaniard. He's my main reason for rooting for Djok, really (petty/lame?).

reasons: where shall i start? : time-wasting, match tempo-controlling, the 'Humbalito' act,
enhancement, strategic MTOs, arse-picking (nauseating); if he played straight-up tennis like
the Great Man (and Sampras) so admirably did, he'd have half of the Majors he's "won".

So there. ;)

Semi-Pro
Ben Shelton, Monfils, Jordan Thompson, Chris O'Connell, and the young Chinese kid(??)

Ben hits the ball so hard. When you see him up close he looks like a D1 strong safety and he hits the ball violently...surprised he does not win more.
