these for clay (nike breathe 2k10 with the orange laces of course :) ) sorry for the big picture, only one I had. They really look so much better without the black laces.

Air Oscillate

I just remembered the name of the Sampras shoe! I am telling you, this was the best tennis shoe I ever wore. I've purchased hundreds over the years.

Surprised no one mentioned Reebok Pumps

If you're talking about the Roddick Match Day Pumps, while those shoes were probably the most cushioned feeling shoe I've ever worn, they really did feel like bricks on your feet w/ a weight over 20 oz. Plus, they had no ventilation. Shame because the shoe was otherwise so darn soft and plush.

In any color!
The barricades 2 were real nice too.

Lol, was cleaning out a closet and found a brand new pair of the black and red ones...gonna try them out on the court tomorrow,

Anyway my vote goes to the Nike LWP from 1995, and Sampras' Air Oscillate.

Yes, it is the Match Day Pumps and the cushioning I remember.

Nike Breathe Free II's...some of the comfiest shoes I've ever worn. I was saving a pair just to wear around but then my dog got to them...that was a sad day :(

I will add an additional shoe that changed comfort and stability in Tennis play for good. In the early to mid 90s, Nike created the "Cage" sneaker that was unlike any before.

I know a Sampras nut who bought about 40 pairs of Oscillates. Pete sure seemed to love them, he wore the oscillates for about eight straight years, Nike never changed the base shoe just the colorways.

On the flipside, for worst shoe, anyone remember those Nike clown shoes from about ten years ago, I remember they were different colors, solid white, solid yellow, black but no players wore them, the looked ridiculous. One of Nike's worst creations. I never saw one player wear them, just a fitness coach of Kafelnikov. The yellow ones looked like clown shoes.

Remember the air implosions, really sweet. Were those yellow shoes the air zoom Courtposites?

Yes I think they were the Courtposites Ronaldo (thanks). Blake wearing the black ones does ring a bell. Yes those Implosions were great shoes, loved the white ones with blue/ gray. Anyone have pics of the Courtposites? (which were a rare Nike failure)

I don't believe Blake ever did. Ginepri did at US Open when he was a rookie; I think he got blown out by Agassi in a night match.
Yes, this shoes have been worn by Ginepri at Us Open and Cincinnati, not by Blake nor by Agassi (for which she considered too hard in the upper)

Barricade 2's. I'm really bummed they finally went out of production last year. I've been wearing them for the past 10 years or so.
