New Federer Racquet Coming

sweet i was wondering about llama power. i hear they're going to harness the raw energy from the llama and integrate it into the frame in pockets of this energy placed at the 3 and 9 o'clock sections of the frame. its supposed to improve power and spitting distance.

hey guys, the price of the the blx 6.1 line and the pro line just got slashed. its on the TW homepage if you guys missed the banner. perhaps fed really is getting a new racquet and maybe delpo is getting a new blx pro as well?

Sorry about my fail!

:) it is interesting to see that frame - it's still a BLX by the paint scheme which, if it is the new FedFrame(TM), follows a different path than previous versions have taken. Every time a new FedFrame(TM) has come out it's been also a part of a new technology release (ex: nCode, [K]arbon, etc.). BLX has been out for a couple of seasons now so you'd think if Wilson were bringing out a new signature racquet for Roger they would launch it with a new racquet technology / marketing scheme rather than issuing it as a BLX model.

sorry if already posted, but noticed today at my local retailer and on the tw website that a lot of the blx racquets are on sale for $30 off - the sale includes the six.one tour, and ends sept. 30...

a sign there is a new line coming out early fall?

Not sure why people can't believe this but there is definitely a new Federer racquet coming out for the Aus Open 2012 and that photo is the paint job. No idea if there will be a change in headsize, but retailers will see the prototypes come September/October apparently.

What makes you so sure of this?

Chaddles, we discovered that that frame was a cheap, big box store frame that can be found at Walmart. Perhaps post 109 can help you.

I repeat, the frame pictured is not going to be Fed's new stick.

It looked like Federer was using his new blx 95 today. Ever since Federer switched to the blx 95 he's been hitting with more power and spin, maybe this will give him the boost he needs to win the US Open.

You know what Federer is thinking, he's now in his 30's if I win one more grand slam I can retire on my own terms just like Sampras did in his 30's, that has to be going through his mind. If he wins the US Open who knows he could do what Sampras did and leave the game on his own terms. Who knows only God can make that decision.

Do people ever listen to Federer interviews? He's not looking to win 1 more slam then retire.
