Any news about Wilson releasing another limited edition ProStaff like they did with the red RF97 last year? That thing was so sweet looking... and so expensive!

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Red version was about 340 grams with a synthetic grip. Replacing this with leather would have added another 10 grams. So considerably heftier than the usual RF97. Wonder if same thing with the Blue version.

my local Tennis shop says these will go on sale on 20th... limited with only 5000 racquest available world wide.
He's also mentioned..that these blue one might be cheaper than last year's red version.

I would actually like to know this as well. It would make more sense if Wilson made the LC versions the exact same weight as the regular version WITHOUT the grip...

Call me cynical, but my local racquet shop laid the same story on me last year regarding the red frame. They still have about a dozen hanging on the rack. My thinking is that the production is limited to however many Wilson thinks they can sell, plus 5,000.

But to show how un-cynical I am, I readily bought into the story and bought the red frame. It does look awesome. :)

I really don't want to start a habit of buying annual Laver Cup editions of the RF97 at full retail price, but this color may be too hard to resist. The red one was nice too but I was able to convince myself that my black RF97s looked better so I was able to hold off..

Yall... this paint (while pretty) is garbage and we all know it. Wilson did it right with Kei's PE Ultra 95. THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE GOOD BLUE PAINT. Why on earth wont they extend this to other lines?
All you need to do is order a custom RF97 with the glossy finish. The glossy paint is much more durable than the flat finish and it comes out at $300 (same price as last year's red version).

No one mentioning the blue shoes in the back of Roger´s seat?

ON Running Shoes, i think established in Switzerland. It seems and assume that he used that one( matched with his shirt color ) So i think it's pretty clear Roger doesn't have a shoe contract with Nike.

Makes sense since there are several places I know where the Red one is still available.

It’s blue for Europe. Have you ever seen the EU flag ?

Where's the yellow colour on the racquet?

And as far as I know, there is no Red colour in the EU flag, so why the red model last year. (Oh, the Swiss flag has Red in it. LOL!)

Smh ... people don’t get out much here lol

LOL. Spoken like a person from the Northern Hemisphere. You guys think 100 kilometres (60 miles!) is a long distance. That's about the length of some of my mates' driveways.

Don't Smh too much, your head will fall off.:D:cool:

wow, Federer wearing the regular Uniqlo DRY EX shirt but of course for advertisement purposes with Large RED Uniqlo Logo. Only at $15, I'm digging that Red Logo, more sporty to look.

Not advertisement purposes. He has been wearing these style of shirts for practices since he joined Uniqlo.
Definitely good price for the shirt and better with logos haha

BTW this racket goes well with yellow grip ^_^

What are you even on about ?? Driveways? “Don’t get out too much” is a figure of speech. It means: wow, you have a very limited grasp of the world. And clearly you proved it once again.

Blue is for Europe. Red would probably be team world. Or Switzerland. Whatever your mind wants to believe on your long driveway. To suggest they’re copying tsitispas or just need to get rid of a lot of blue paint is a very facile and myopic understanding of marketing and business approach.

And while we’re on about colors. What you call tsitsipas blue is Greece blue. Another flag!
Enjoy babe!

Oh Dear.

The reference to Tsitsipas blue had nothing to do with Greece. Tsitsipas has been using a Blue coloured racquet recently.

"European Blue" ... :-D

BTW .. It is called the LAVER Cup. You know ... after ROD LAVER ... an AUSTRALIAN tennis player of some repute ... probably the GOAT !!!! (For those who are neither facile, nor myopic.)
