Nike Air Max Cage: 1/2 size difference ???

I had the Cage for 2 month and I felt slightly bigger than the Vapor 9 which I wore before. I assumed that the wider front of the Cage gives the feel. Besides that the Cage was good.

However, I just found out the notification in the tennis warehouse.

"Fit: Please Note: We found this shoe to fit a 1/2 size large. We recommend ordering a 1/2 size smaller than your actual size. "

I sent the shoes to Nike because of a cracked air tube. Thus, I will need to order a new pair of Cage later. Do I have to order 1/2 size smaller?

Thanks,
Ryan.

That's a kind of tricky. The length is good, but the front area is a little bit wide. I knew that the Cage has a wider front than Vapor.

Yeah it's not that they run long. Just kinda wide up front in the cage area although I do believe that the newer the pair the less "cagey" they are. Just got the new blue pair and less material there than on previous pairs.

What is differences between Cage and CB 4.3 besides the appearance?
Well, think of this:
-Light weight, low to the court but bad durability, medium fit= V9s;
-Bulky and heavy but very good durability, tighter fit=CB4.3s;
-Between the two, wide fit= AMCs.

I really think they made a correction from the very first colors introduced to the more recent colors. When the Air Max Cage first came out I ordered a pair of the black/volt color and they were way too wide. I just got a pair of the orange ones in the same size and they fit great! I really think Nike realized they made them too wide and adjusted the width for later production.

I believe that to be the case also but knowing Nike maybe they had absolutely nothing to do with it and that's just the way the factory has been cooking them up recently. But yeah there's a difference.
