Nike Breathe IIs and IIIs

I just recently got two new pairs of tennis shoes because my New Balances finally wore out. I bought the Breathe Free IIs and IIIs (I got a great deal on each pair so I didn't want to pass either deal up). Is it me or do the IIIs require more of a break-in period? I wear a true 14 in most shoes (15 in some Nike basketball shoes) but my toes seem to be sort of smushed in the IIIs. The IIs felt that way when I first started playing with them but they felt broken in by the second set. The IIIs never felt broken in and I played three sets today. I am very patient so I'm not rushing things but did anyone else notice that the IIIs needed to be broken in (especially if your foot is in between sizes, a 15 would have been too big).

One last thing, the IIIs felt clunkier to me than the IIs. I seemed to be a lot more nimble in the IIs. Is this also just me?

I actually agree with you. The BFII's are much more comfy from the begining and it pretty much continues through the life of the shoe. I had II's about a year ago and wore them out. Got a pair of III's and noticed that the II's were still more comfy...went back to the II's. Maybe they'll make the IV's more like the II's because that is the kind of shoe I like to wear.

For me, the IIIs fit better than the IIs. There was some pinching on the outside of my room between the insole and the shoe, though.
