does anyone know why nike doesn’t release featherlight hats that match what the players wear? also why don’t they make the featherlight rafa hats?

I hope the featherlite nadal hats come back... these new ones are too thick so you sweat alot more than with the old ones

Nike probably saw there was more people wearing them casually rather than playing. Hence why they went with the Heritage86 but with cotton first then switched to all polyester.

Heritage 86 is great. Note the different colours seem to be made from slightly different materials and fit slightly differently.

I have the H86 in black, grey and white and the black and white are a different material to the grey which is more of a soft touch material but does not fit quite as snug. Black seems to fit the most snug and I tend to wear that one unless it’s a mega sunny day!

I have a white w/ blue RF featherlight in kid size (I have a pin head!), got it at the Nike booth at the USO 2013, never seen any other kids RF hats again. I wear it but try to take great care of it since it it irreplaceable.

Same with my collection of nadal featherlights since we probably wont be able to purchase them again.

Nike Feather Light hats with item code 611811 released around 2015-2016 are by far the best versions. Light, soft and breatheable.

Can anyone comment on the Agassi Challenger hats they put out with the recent Agassi line? There's a black hat and a volt hat and I kinda want to get the black hat on sale but it looks like it might be a bit rough material?

It’s not ‘rough’ as you might see/think. It’s not as soft as the Nike featherlight hats, but not as rough as heritage86. So, I would say it’s in between, very comfortable to wear out.

The velcro on my featherlight hats always seem to die out within a year. Any way to prolong velcro life or do I need to buy more hats?

Always hand wash and air dry your hats. Never put them in the washer or dryer. Also, stop adjusting it if you are. If you keep on pulling the tab on the off again, the velcro will stop “sticking” to the main surface.

The quality velcro doesn't have such issues. I have gear with velcro from as far back as 30 years ago and the velcro still sticks adequately (not as new, obviously), despite of them being through countless different washings and conditions (some of it is mountaineering gear, where zero care is exercised while using it).

I have a lot of Nike RF caps and like the older "heavier" legacy ones to look at, however the last year of RF caps (Aerobill H86) are the best for me to wear haha. They fit better and are less noticable when i wear them and run my $ss off at the court :-D. I found a Nike RF cap "15" from 2009 still with tags on and its on its way to me, anybody know what these are worth nowadays?
