It's crazy how the prize money increases with a tempo high above the inflation rate. All the talk about more money to the lower ranked means even more to the few on top, it seems.

True but slams already did this since covid. Top players got paid less.
This tournamnet itself is elitist. They won't make there unless they are top 8s.

I know, but I also remember just a few years back, some slams increased the winner's fee with like 15%. That's total craziness and seats get too prizey.

I also remember Casper Ruud admitted he would never have been able to play on the Futures/ Challengers level if he didn't have parents of means. That's where the dream stops for most talented players.
