We can't say what would or wouldn't happen, but think he would be big favourite... Wawa wasn't the old one, what he showed in next round... Wawa isn't the old one for 4 years now...Does Djoker beat wawa last year at USO if healthy?

I think that Rafa and Fed at hard surface slam are good for Novak, where they often kick out more dangerous players for him as Thiem, Medvedev, Wawa, maybe even Tsi or Zverev... Same stands for his pigeons Raonic, Nishikori, Dimitrov, Cilic... They are good news in Novak's draw as cleaners of his path...Impossible to argue that when you put it like that.
Damn, you got him there... Now he won't post anything or will post some link where nothing says what he claims...Post a link to what you are describing or it didn't happen.
Good points here.Where is it that he tried to defend Djokovic from the indefensible or the idea that Djokovic's responsibility should be neglected? He said here he "underestimated the virus and there are consequences". Consequences meaning he has to face his part of responsibility. Just because he is defending Djokovic against "vitrol" does not mean he is blindly supporting him. I know I am talking to the wrong poster in regards to trying to reason with so this will be last post to you on this because I am not about to waste my time, as you will go back and forth, around on a merry-go-round, gaslighting, moving the goal posts and anything in between with no serious point being made.

The last time Federer have defeated Djokovic at the HC Slam people were still trying to invent the electricity. Federer has the same effect on Djokovic's chances on winning a HC Slam as the penguins from Antarctica. GTHOH with that talk..
-Active players that have defeated Djokovic at UO since 2007:Yes, he must be happy that two players that haven't beat him on hard court slam for more than decade, and more than 7 years are missing... Same for Wawruins who can't beat healthy Novak...
Yeah, that's what happened, I saw that in meantime. Loolllll....Of course he did, and we all were 90% sure that that's what was going to happen.
Fed - haven't done against Novak on hard surface slam for a decade-Active players that have defeated Djokovic at UO since 2007:
Federer - skip/injured
Nadal - skip
Wawrinka - skip
Murray - bionic hip
Nishikori - corona
That'd make a good rap verseFederer - skip
Nadal - skip
Wawrinka - skip
Murray - bionic hip
Whatever helps you sleep broskiFed - haven't done against Novak on hard surface slam for a decade
Nadal - same as above but for 7 years
Wawa - he is dangerous for Novak, but Wawa is not himself for years now
Murray - he is practically retired for top tennis, why mentioning him for particular slam?
Nishikori - he is not dangerous for Novak for years, why mentioning him at all...
Novak is the best player in the world, not many players can beat him, deal with it...
Yes. All that toweling became a habit, and I think a very bad one.I watched the Venus match. Players having to get their own towels seems to decrease towel use, which seemed to keep the games moving, and showed they don't really need to towel off every point. If the men's side is similar than this change will be great.
Not if both healthyDoes Djoker beat wawa last year at USO if healthy?

Sadly he would only benefit from Fed and Rafa who would take out some of the truly dangerous players in the draw. If things pan out and he faces Medvedev in sf and Thiem in final, that's as tough as it can get. He was lucky he faced Fed in sf of AO2020 and smoked him and had energy in the final.
Maybe it's time we accept we will never see again Federer on slam winning level. A year off tennis at age 39 due to injury that required 2 operations, that's just refusing to accept reality.
There's a literal cut in the middle of Novak's sentence in that video. It also appears they edited out comments on "controversial covid disqualifications".It was a lot of stuff about the government using Corona to control us
Or maybe they edited the question being asked by the journalist leaving only the answer? Not as good a conspiracy theory, though
Kind of sums it all up...the players who can cause Novak problems on HC are actually still in the draw, and they come from the younger generation.

Djokovic miffed at USTA for ousting two players
Novak Djokovic criticized the USTA proceeds that led to the removal of Guido Pella and Hugo Dellien from the Western & Southern Open.www.espn.com
New York state health officials would initiate contact tracing in the event of a positive test. If it was determined that the players were too close to the infected person, the officials could take the decision to disqualify the players.
If this is yet another example of Djokovic's tour leadership, then I pity the players
I've been watching for a while although I haven't said much. Pay close attention to media from UK, Australia and US in regards to Djokovic and you can see their clear agenda.
So, New York state health officials shouldn't have rights to do what they think is good for public health? Who should decide what is best in Covid crisis where people are dying? President of tennis player council? Now there's a lesson for you. You can't rely on oral advice. And the advice was not incorrect, just incomplete.
The famous waiver gave them the full and rather more onerous conditions of their participation, and yet they still signed:
Djokovic said the advice given was "obviously contrary" to what was spelled out in the waiver players bound for New York were obliged to sign. That waiver, Djokovic said, specified that New York state health officials would initiate contact tracing in the event of a positive test. If it was determined that the players were too close to the infected person, the officials could take the decision to disqualify the players.
If this is yet another example of Djokovic's tour leadership, then I pity the players.
The waiver states that the decision to disqualify is made NY state medical officials.
There is nothing "onerous" about this waiver.
NY state health officials have granted special permission for this USO event to be held.
The health officials too priority is to protect the public from this USO bubble event and it is reasonable that they make the call on disqualification. Not some biased Tournament organizer.
Give us your solution to player disqualification instead of being a whiny malcontent.

Are.... You.... Serious...?
You didn't read the article. Please do your homework before commenting.
I guess you are not serious...You didn't read the article. Please do your homework before commenting.
We read the article. Djoker was verbally told that players can continue to play if they had not shared a room with the physio.
In this case, the NY Health officials conducted contract tracing and found that the players received massages from the physio.
Obviously the NY Health Officials should make the decision on disqualification, and that is what is stated in the waiver agreement.
The only reason this Tournament is being allowed to be held is because the NY Health officials have granted special permission and demanded special procedures to be followed.
That's not Djokovic's understanding. He is quite clearly saying that the oral advice would have allowed the players to stay.
He did not get this understanding reflected in the waiver. This is a failure on his part.
The disqualification was not a violation of the understanding. The players did not share a room with the physio but the oral advice does not allow the players to have prolonged 15 minute intimate contact with an infected masseuse.
You are just being silly. The impartial NY Health officials conducted contract tracing. You need to accept the science and respect the authority of the NY health officials.
You still have not answered what should have been done in this masseuse scenario. Who do you want conducting the contact tracing and making the decision? Johnny Mac?
