Novak Djokovic is the best ever, great to see him back - Nick Bollettieri

Who is the greatest player ever? The American coach Nick Bollettieri has the answer. "Novak Djokovic". "He moves, he recovers, he turns to drop shots, services, very smart on the court", said the American. "He is the best and it's also great to see him back again and what makes a champion in life is when everything goes wrong, you come back again.
On the women's it's Serena. I was fortunate to work with a lot of players in the world but I believe Serena stands in the class of her own. Their style of play is very different. She knows one way to play, I am going to after you from the very first ball.
What's happening today is that when you have a baby or you are low at a physical shape, Serena hits the ball so flat. I am hoping that Serena will find a way back, but the years I worked with Serena, Venus, Richard, Oracene were some of the most wonderful."
Asked to give advice to kids, Bollettieri replied: "Give everything that you have. Never say, I cannot do it. Find a way to do it. Also, today's children are faced with so many things. The world is upside down, drugs, alcohol and violence.
Coaches can make an impact on a child's life. By having that child go home, thinking they didn't do well and the coach said, How could you miss that ball when everybody is hitting? The child goes home, doesn't eat, doesn't do the homework and is subjected to drugs. Enjoy what you do, never complain. Excuses do not pay bills."

See him back???
Did he take 6 months' break like 2017??
He took time off because of injury... then he came back and was still injured... then he got surgery for said injury... came back and was still injured... then he came back and won because he was no longer injured...

I’d agree that Djokovic is the most complete player but still has a bit to go to be the greatest a few more slams staying #1 another WTF and YE#1 and he will be.
The next year is big. Needs a minimum of 2 slams and stay #1

If you please stop finding and posting random, poorly translated, garbled, nonsense:

“What's happening today is that when you have a baby or you are low at a physical shape, Serena hits the ball so flat.”

then I will stipulate Djoker is the GOAT.

Deal ?

So which opinion is more valid?! The one of the clueless plebs driven with cheapest fan emotions or the opinion of plethora of balanced experts and unbiased analysts/hystorians of the game.

Hmmm, what a dilemma this it is!?:oops:

If Djokovic were to be GOAT when the Big 3 are finished it's gonna have very little to do with Nick Bollettieri
I think it does. One, he has been praising Novak as the most complete player for ages. Two, he contributes to ruining American tennis at least on the men's side with his school of training.

His school of training that has led to an unlimited supply of incredibly limited tennis players this day and age?

From 2011 on this has been the Djokovic decade and no one can solve him. It’s probably true at this point. I didn’t appreciate him earlier in his career because of some of his antics, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to respect the way he prioritizes god and country. Unfortunately his game, while probably the most effective ever, is not thrilling to watchX.

Don't agree...yet. He may get that title in two years or so. Has some more work to do and is about 27 titles behind Roger and the 4 major titles.

I think Federer is more talented tennis wise than Novak. When you watched them play doubles together at Laver Cup, Roger was vastly superior in his volleying, anticipation, half-volleying, closing the net, serving...he was much better. But, Novak is the greatest defensive player in history and the greatest returner in history. He may very well surpass Roger as the GOAT. Let's not forget Rafa. He's not done yet and leads Novak by 2 in majors and has about 7 more tournament titles.

Djokovic is the Greatest of this era. His peak level and consistency is clearly higher than Fed and Nadal. He is also a more complete player than both and will certainly break all the records as well.

All in all, Djokovic might be considered along with Laver the best tennis player of all time.

Didn't you hear??

Someone wrote Rod Laver is 81. Is that true? If it is, the original post is understandable..

Bottlehead Nick is how old?? 88. If it is, OP comes out as pretty understandable too.

Otha, even when someone accepts his flaw, you have to criticize him? Cut me some slack man! :)

Oh my, hope Sunny cut us some slack as well for thinking Nick is even more flawed than Laver. :-D

In an interview to Diario AS, a Spanish daily sports newspaper, Toni Nadal commented on the dominance of ‘Big Three’ on the tour with Roger Federer being the best ever. "Roger Federer is the best in history and Rafael is closer to him. I like looking at numbers", Toni said.

Uncle Toni > Nick Bollettieri.

@Sunny Ali thinks old people are flawed. Yet he clings to 88 yr old Nick on this thread. Oh the genuine hypocrisy.
