How did she trick Melanie? That stupid sister should be able to spell believe. She's too old to spell so poorly, plus it's written on her damn shirt.
People need to grow up. Do you think Pam Shriver is just improvising out there? She has a mic in her ear and producers tell her what to do.

I was searching for a Pam Shriver sucks thread just because of this past Oudin interview. Shriver is awful and has poor decorum and lacks professionalism. The crowd even booed her because she was disrepectful of Wickmayer when she was interviewing Wozniacki. Shriver stinks. It pains me to say she may be actually worse than Dick Enberg and Bud Collins.
Enberg is boring and doesn't know tennis. Bud has gotten old and can't really think fast enough on his feet for live TV. But neither is petty, arrogant and spiteful like Big Bird.Hey, lets not get out of line now. NOBODY is worse than Dick Enberg. Bud Collins...that is one is debatable.
calm down girly girls. so what if pam decided to interview Oudin after a loss. Big deal. Every other sport has the loser go and do a press conference afterwards. Its called sportsmanship. U win with grace and u lose with grace.
But the way she said Wickmayers name or whoever she was was hilarious! LMFAO! There was such emphasis and disgust and condescending tone in her voice. Lol even Wozniaki had to stop for a minute and be like "woah, I better not venture down that same path."
HAHA Pam what a classic.
She has a mic in her ear and producers tell her what to do.
Who needs to be fired is Oudin's coach!! Did you see the interview in the first (or was it second set? it went by so fast!), Pam asked him for his thoughts on the game and he basically had ZERO confidence in her, said she's rattled, talked about the run she's had, as though "this" is the end of the road (when there was still a real chance at coming back in the game). With the money she now has, she should can that guy and get someone behind her, someone who doesn't think the ship is sinking when you see one leak. I would be extremely offended to watch the match back and hear my coach talk like that.
Before the Wozniacki interview, the impromptu interview with Oudin was borderline at best. Yeah, you could hear her trying to convince Oudin to say a few words. I don't have a problem with trying to get her to say a thank you to her new fans. However, and Shriver should know this being a world class player herself, Oudin is 17, on the biggest stage in the world for the first time and just lost a match MINUTES ago where she was frustrated from the start. How about a little respect for a young girl seemingly overwhelmed by things. If it was Shrivers own teenage daughter, she would want people to back off for at LEAST a few minutes. producers or not, Shriver could have much better tact than to hijack the poor girl. At the least give her time to compose herself rather than pressure her into an interview even as she could be seen with tears swelling. Thats why there is a post-game press conference!
First of all, Pam Shriver would have been instructed by the Producer/Director to try to interview Melanie. Secondly, I am pretty sure the crowd was booing because of the reputation that Wickmayer has.I was searching for a Pam Shriver sucks thread just because of this past Oudin interview. Talk about an overreaction!
Pam has a very dry sense of humor which people mistake for rudeness. I actually find her quite funny.
And apparently he's responsible for the break-up of her parents:

Gotta love tennis, so many creepy dynamics at play(funny that the Dad is ok that he stays on as her coach after all this...)
She gave Oudin a chance to thank the fans who supported her and kidded around with her sister. Not exactly a horrible offense in my book.

why did he decide to bring this up now? didn't he know about the affair for months/years now?
In a sworn statement made on Aug. 10, 2009, John Oudin specifically alleges his wife had been unfaithful with Melanie's coach, Brian de Villiers. "I didn't initial [sic] take any action regarding my early suspicions because I didn't want to believe my wife was having an affair with my daughter's tennis coach ... On December 29, 2007, I confronted my wife about whether she was having an affair with Brian de Villiers. I confronted Brian de Villiers separately. My wife and Brian de Villiers both admitted to me they were having an affair."
John Oudin also states in the affidavit that Melanie suspected the alleged affair. "Both [Melanie and her twin sister, Katherine] asked me point blank if I thought Mom was having an affair with Brian. When I asked why they had suspicions, Melanie told on one occasion she woke up at 1:00 a.m. in her hotel room and Leslie was not there. She called Brian's cell phone and connected with her."
In a temporary order dated Dec. 16, 2008, John and Leslie Oudin agreed to several conditions, including a stipulation "that [Leslie] will not interact with Brian de Villiers except as it specifically relates to the children's tennis activities ... [and] not to travel with Brian de Villiers to any tennis tournaments in which the children are participating."
Leslie Oudin has accompanied Melanie Oudin for her entire U.S. Open run. After Oudin's third-round victory over former No. 1 Maria Sharapova on Saturday, John Oudin traveled to New York for Melanie's fourth-round match against Nadia Petrova. He sat with the family in the players' box for the entire match, albeit a row up from his wife.
De Villiers, 51, has been coaching for more than 30 years and is a well-regarded developmental instructor. He was recently named United States Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year. He counts Luke and Murphy Jensen as former clients. De Villiers has coached Oudin since she was 9.
The Oudin personal info is unfortunate, other than sensational interest, not sure that piece of her and her family's private life really has a place in the public. On Shriver (or at least I think that was her as I was flipping between USOPEN.org and ESPN360 coverage), what made me cringe most was last night's stadium seat interview of Alec Baldwin during a critical game in Oudin's second set -- I simply couldn't believe it.
Wow..this is pretty crazy...guess tennis is always put first in this family...(& I'm guessing Melanie had a say in whether or not to keep him as her coach)
i think i saw that. what did she say that was so bad while talking to alec baldwin?
Well, she has already been defaulted once this year for hitting a line umpire in the face with a ball in Florida. She is known for having bad conduct issues on court.
Wickmayer.Who? Oudin?
