Safin-Roddick

I had to lose Blake over Philippoussis. More like sentimental favorite.
Very tough one between Agassi/Nadal.

Nadal over Agassi? I'd say the other way around. Otherwise, your picks look pretty good to me, except I'd say Blake over Philippoussis.

You think Flipper can maintain his power all the way to the quarters? I still don't think it'll be enough against Blake.

Assuming Safin continues his mental focus....

I don't think Agassi has the legs to beat Nadal either.

Yep. I took 1 or 2 choices against usuals since sometimes usuals
do not happen....

I think there are going to be a bunch of upsets, maybe the courts are even slower this year.

Federer-Youzhny(Ancic will choke since so many are expecting him to get to qf)
Ferrero(has done well at W before & Nalbandian tends to choke)-Blake
Safin(matches up well with Hewitt, regardless of grass)-Roddick
Nieminen-Fish(this section is a crapshoot nadal & agassi aren't playing well, ljubicic is a choker-and has to play again tomorrow after long 5 setter today)

check out last years QF:
(1)Federer-(21)Gonzalez
(3)Hewitt-(26)Lopez
(2)Roddick-(9)Grosjean
(12)Johansson-(18)Nalbandian

fasdunn, had there been no rain on Monday, I think Philippoussis could have made a run to the QF. He plays so little nowadays & is so oft-injured, he really needed a day off in between best of 5 set matches.

Haas-Ancic (I hate Federer extreme bias, especially since he beat Henman and is a cocky SOB who wears that blazer)
Malisse-Mirnyi
Hewitt-Grosjean
Tursunov-Agassi

I know muchos upsets

Moose, that's very wild prediction.

mavsman149, Haas at least behaves and talks like he can beat
Federer some day while 99% of players fold their card so easily.

If Nadal somehow uses his youth to overcome his in-expeiences
on grass, against the zen master Agassi, his quarter is very promising
for him, IMHO.

I would love to watch Safin-Roddick if it happens. Nadal might not be playing well, but if his body holds, his will might take him further than we think. Moose, you might be right about Ancic - not because he will choke, but because he didn't look to be in the best condition after winning his first round. He had a small injury to his back in the warm-up, which seemed to bother him a little bit. If he survives, he could give Federer some trouble.

Federer is on a murdering spree at the moment; I hope he hasn't peaked too soon. His draw is full of pitfalls.
