Playing Indian Wells may turn out to be the wisest move of Nadal's career

Who knows when that stress fracture would have caved if he didn't play Indian Wells, maybe at Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid or Rome.... and he'd have missed Roland Garros which would have potentially hurt his chances at Wimbledon (yes he'd be fresh, but mentally its never been good to lose Roland Garros).

Of course we can speculate that he'd have rested after Mexico and not experienced the stress fracture.... but he may have gone straight to practicing on clay, and had no idea that a stress fracture had been set in motion.
Who knows when exactly it began to form, and when it would have caved..... maybe at a much later date, at Roland Garros or Wimbledon.

Nadal may win 23 slams by August, thanks to him wisely playing Indian Wells (y)

Tests showed the broken rib wasn't recent, so no chance of the physio doing it.
Why do you think Nadal called for the physio to began with? Duh, he couldn't breathe properly, broken rib.
Alcaraz is lucky, it would have been another straight sets mauling if Nadal's rib wasn't broken....

Doesn't matter OP, Djokovic will win RG +Wimbledon again. Nadal will most likely not even be fit for RG and might wait for the Us open.

Bahaha, when you say he times his injuries, Rafa fans jump on you and say he is jeopardising RG. When it turns out he will miraculously be ready for RG, it's wise he got injury so soon. :X3:

Where does it say it wasn’t recent?

I don't know about Wimbledon but Djokovic won't win neither RG nor US Open again.
You will see that the list of players who can beat him on clay and at the French Open has increased from last year.
And let me remind you that only three players aged 35 and over have reached the semi-finals at that Major and even if he emulates that result, it will be his limit.

Hi Fed devotee aka Rafa hater! Your comment just shows your attitude.

lol you think I'm hiding? I'm not. And stuff like this is just why I'm a hater. He can't stand the spotlight being on anyone else so he whines and whines about being injured and has his team do it for him as well. It's bad sportsmanship and before you say anything, I roll my eyes when Federer does it too. But Rafa takes the cake

HI, Fed devotee. You are a Rafa hater and trash talk him because of his positive H2H record against Fed.

Yep.. even the matches he lost in reality, hypothetically he still wins them!

Peak Fed > the universe
The ones he lost he was not peaking, therefore don't count. Similar to Vamos nation's injury report after any of Rafa's losses.
