revolution actually their only poly i didnt like :/
340g, 325sw, 4 pts HL. TW leather grips under.
(numbers are all very close, not NASA worthy but close.......i do this at home, no RDC etc)
these of course are the newer "re-issue" models (except the FP).
see the last post prior to yours.
I hit with a buddy's re-issue and thought it played like the original release.

What didn't you like about it? I'm actually about to try all of the Solinco polys side by side since my club team got a sweet deal with them.
probably was bad set up in the frame i was trying. it just felt lackluster to me. kind of muted, wasnt crazy about the feel. maybe ill give it another look
How does it compare to, say, Tour Bite in terms of spin and power? It's a shaped string, right?

it is shaped. it is much stiffer than tour bite in my opinion. I felt spin production may be slightly more with the revolution but that was about the best thing about the string compared to tour bite. tour bite had better feel, comparable spin, and wasn't as stiff
Nice. How do you like that bag? Is that the monster? Seems like that one is loaded with great features but to me maybe seems a tad too big/cumbersome?
Yeah that's the monster. I love it. It's big, yes but not alot bigger than the smaller size actually. I put all 5 (sometimes just 4) sticks in the "foil" compartment and use the other large racket section for towels, balls, shirts etc.
Also has a single racket slot, i use for bandanas wrist bands etc.
The slot opposite the single racket slot (they are on the outsides) is similar but has dividers providing great spots for Grips. strings, meds, tape etc.
The zippers are like butter and the rubbery material (heavier on the bottom) is tough.
It's spendy, but for abit more money i'm glad i did it.

haha i think we are at different levels. for my level, it works
Nah man a lot of people like it. Just wasn't feeling it for my game. To each their own that's why they make different stuff. If one was clearly the best everyone would use it

That's not a ti80, I think it's MP Tour something.Loving the Yonexes. I was going to say you are missing the Ultimum Rd Ti 80 but then its on the stringer!?? How does it play?

My raquet collection always is fluctuating, and there are a bunch not pictured here, but this dozen or so racquets are the ones I plan to always keep.

All of mine were reissues, but they played like my old high school teammates originals.
Graphene Prestige Rev Pro... Grrr
Besides my personal hate for the racquet, I'm curious, have you customized it?
Hey guys, that's good to hear, I'm a little worried that the re-issue was considered stiffer than the old version. That's not the case then? The specs listed are identical for both the new and the old obviously but you never know... I'm thinking about getting some more of the rads to go with my original Microgel Rad MP brought in 2008.
To me the re-issues play noticeably stiffer than the old. The comments above surprised me to be honest.
Cheers, yeah does sound like there is a difference although of course that's probably going to vary for most people from none, small and noticeable. What are your opinions of the IG Rad mp, is it similar to the microgel? They are a nice price on TW atm.
