Always liked this tecnifibre bag - I was considering buying the version with the wheels, but it was hard to find it in the US.

340g, 325sw, 4 pts HL. TW leather grips under.
(numbers are all very close, not NASA worthy but close.......i do this at home, no RDC etc)

these of course are the newer "re-issue" models (except the FP).

see the last post prior to yours.

I hit with a buddy's re-issue and thought it played like the original release. They are really nice solid sticks!

tbuggle, very nice! I love the MG Radical, especially with gut mains and poly crosses (I never played full gut in the frame). If I hadn't discovered the wonder that is the Prestige Pro I would likely still be using them.

That's nice to know, but ultimately i really like these so no matter.
The plus is that i can stock up for years (already am, really) on the cheap.

I don't go around demo-ing rackets just for the hell of it. I find something decent and stay there, or try to.

I just started playing again in 2010 (since late 80's HS) first using an old Michael Chang OS LB I had for whatever reason. Tried my buddies speedport black, liked it....bought some closeouts. Decided it was too stiff after some time and got some LM rads, "sight unseen" based on hearsay. Decided they were too stiff and switched to these. Now I'm good.

Although, I have 4 POG OS (2 x 2-stripe and 2 x 4 stripe) on the way.
FREE. Just gonna try them out, but i'm happy with the MG's.

I'm cheap.

What didn't you like about it? I'm actually about to try all of the Solinco polys side by side since my club team got a sweet deal with them.

probably was bad set up in the frame i was trying. it just felt lackluster to me. kind of muted, wasnt crazy about the feel. maybe ill give it another look

How does it compare to, say, Tour Bite in terms of spin and power? It's a shaped string, right?

it is shaped. it is much stiffer than tour bite in my opinion. I felt spin production may be slightly more with the revolution but that was about the best thing about the string compared to tour bite. tour bite had better feel, comparable spin, and wasn't as stiff

I'll keep that in mind when I try it then.

Nice. How do you like that bag? Is that the monster? Seems like that one is loaded with great features but to me maybe seems a tad too big/cumbersome?

Yeah that's the monster. I love it. It's big, yes but not alot bigger than the smaller size actually. I put all 5 (sometimes just 4) sticks in the "foil" compartment and use the other large racket section for towels, balls, shirts etc.
Also has a single racket slot, i use for bandanas wrist bands etc.

The slot opposite the single racket slot (they are on the outsides) is similar but has dividers providing great spots for Grips. strings, meds, tape etc.

The zippers are like butter and the rubbery material (heavier on the bottom) is tough.

It's spendy, but for abit more money i'm glad i did it.

Good stuff. Very slick looking bag.

haha i think we are at different levels. for my level, it works

Nah man a lot of people like it. Just wasn't feeling it for my game. To each their own that's why they make different stuff. If one was clearly the best everyone would use it

My raquet collection always is fluctuating, and there are a bunch not pictured here, but this dozen or so racquets are the ones I plan to always keep.

hey royroy it plays very sweet actually, quite a hefty stick and generous sweet spot. I could do with some RDS 002 and RDS 003's at some point, they're a little harder to find at a decent price.

Graphene Prestige Rev Pro... Grrr
Besides my personal hate for the racquet, I'm curious, have you customized it?

All of mine were reissues, but they played like my old high school teammates originals.

Hey guys, that's good to hear, I'm a little worried that the re-issue was considered stiffer than the old version. That's not the case then? The specs listed are identical for both the new and the old obviously but you never know... I'm thinking about getting some more of the rads to go with my original Microgel Rad MP brought in 2008.

I added leather grips and two strips of lead inside the throat. Made it much whippier and got some good weight behind my shots. I'm liking it a lot, I'm going to mess around with some lead in the hoop too but I'm liking this setup right now.

To me the re-issues play noticeably stiffer than the old. The comments above surprised me to be honest.

Cheers, yeah does sound like there is a difference although of course that's probably going to vary for most people from none, small and noticeable. What are your opinions of the IG Rad mp, is it similar to the microgel? They are a nice price on TW atm.

IG wasn't for me.. Something was weird about the feel, balance. I hit one for
10 minutes and knew it wasn't for me. I'd take a re-issue Microgel over it... On the other hand I really lined the IG Radical Pro. Nice soft stick, great pocketing, but a little sluggish.
