Is it normal to change out of tennis shoes and into lighter shoes (running shoes, flip flops) after practices/matches?

Absolutely! It's common with almost all sports. Taking off your sport specific shoes has benefits too. Your shoes last longer because you're only utilizing them for the intended purpose. I think health wise it gives your feet a chance rest from the rigorous activity. Most athletes wear slides after a game, match, etc. I have both depends on if I'm driving after my match or just hanging out after the game.

Adidas EQT boost is also worth a consideration. Especially the primeknit version, though the regular one is great aswell.

At sectionals last summer I realized how I had neglected this...playing 2 matches in a day, my feet got messed up and shoes stunk. The go to on my team was Adidas flip flops so I that's whats in my bag now. .

Sectionals and nationals I always bring two or three pairs of shoes. Especially if it's 95 degrees and pouring rain and you have to play in that hellhole also known as Sportime.

Yep, EQT look awesome and wear comfortable too. I got mine when this colorway came out.

I usually wear them after playing when bumming around. Nothing beats flip flops after a match though.

Career flip flop (slippas) guy here. I like to let the dogs breath after a match or practice. They are so comfy when just sitting around or walking to the car. If more than that, then some soft, oversized shoes do the trick.

Let me try and answer a few questions on the RCVRY shoes from NB :)

- Doesn't look like we are getting any more Flame/White

- I would NOT suggest working out in these -- they have very little support. But for post workouts or the day after a rough workout/long hours on your feet/a tournament weekend -- they definitely come in handy!

- Not sure these will be available in Europe, as of now, it doesn't look like there are plans to carry them at TWE (they probably weren't available to bring in), but you never know!

Let me know if I can help answer any other questions -- Hope that helps,

It's really annoying that we can't get them in Europe, if you want them here you're paying arround 150 euros.
