Pre-game rituals?

Do you have any Pre game rituals that you do before every match? Maybe bring a lucky towel or fix your hat after every point? Mine is probably never washing my wristbands....It's gross I know, but I just don't want to wash the luck out of it....haha, dumb sounding i know. So, what about you?

Please say you buy new wrist bands regularly top spin geek...

Personally I always put my right sock and shoe on before my left and if I have to walk to the other side of the court before a hit up I will always tap the top of the net post...

^ that made little to no sense.

I always retie my shoes between sets. Aside from that, I don't think i do anything out of the ordinary(fixing strings, adjusting wristband etc). I think its silly to have a nadal - like pregame ritual when you aren't even playing a match that matters much.

If you just washed your old ones when you lost, you'd save yourself some money:)
that would be the smart thing to do wouldnt it? :D I just change wristbands when the others get too skinky or my mom sometimes when I'm out washes all of the wristbands :) So they eventually all get washed as some point when I'm not looking, haha

I take a hot bath/shower before every match that matters, regardless of weather or previous activities.

People always thought it was weird, but it loosens my muscles and gives me a fresh feeling entering into the match.

I like to watch some YouTube clips of the greats: Borg, Lendl, etc. Then put on sunscreen, pack my two water bottles and one sport drink.

Sorry to bring up this thread again :p

I used to go over a "P" in the bottom corner of my racket on the strings for each set I'd play, and I stopped for a while, but I seem to have started up again. The "P" stands for the first name of 2 people I admire most in my life. Just thought I'd let everyone know because you care so much.

1. Eat a light snack- pretzels, fruit
2. Pre-hydrate
3. Use the bathroom due to pre-hydration
4. Sometimes will re-grip my racket
5. Put Wilson bag over left shoulder and walk out to car.
6. At court, sprint back to baseline (no, I'm not impersonating Nadal. It gets the blood flowing in your legs and helps me get rid of the nerves).
