Pro Shops stringing throat to head in one piece?

Do you guys have stringers at a pro shop string from throat to head for crosses for one piece stinging, because at hola-bird USRSA certified stringers always string from bottom to top when i request for a full poly or multi job instead of hybrid. I don't face this problem anymore cause i string my own rackets but is it just that ATW pattern is harder to do or takes more time, or is it that they do not know how to do an ATW pattern. I think its that they are trying to finish the job quickly and thinking that their customers don't know a thing about stringing. Do any of you guys see this kind of problem in your pro shop?

ATW isn't really that hard, you just have to be more careful. I did an atw on my 3rd ever string job, and yes, I messed up a bit, but still, not that difficult, just a beginner mistake. i think it's the latter, they think no one knows wtf is going on with stringing and that no one will care. Bad idea for them. Good you took notice.

I'd talk to them about it if you ever gave them a frame to string again, but that is doubtful now that you have your own machine.

Monsieur Huff has got it right.

Lots of "pro" shops string like this, i'm not really sure why, as I can't see speed being too much of a factor. I've always heard that they have no problems getting a warranty return, even with picky manufacturers like head/prince.

It's just part of the "business," i guess.

Yep lots of pro shops are going bottom to top these days, I don't like it. I always ATW or two-piece them unless the manufacturer says it's OK. From what I've read, Babolat doesn't care.
