Xperience has better comfort/power than hyperG which is lower powered but more spin. It all depends on what you’re looking for in a string...I’m guessing eruption plays more similar to xperience?

sorry never tried pro line evolution but i have hit some with pro line X 16L and that was more similar to the low powered strings with great pocketing while I would describe Xperience as having similar power/comfort to dunlop black widow and some pocketing but not as much as pro line

I just got this Pro's pro Eruption 1.18 mm yesterday.. strung Babolat Pure Drive 16 x 19 at 48 lb with Gamma Fixed Clamp Electronic stringer... I really felt the ball with these strings.. I have not used the Solinco Hyper G.. so I cant compare to it. .. I am a 4.0 left handed and 2 handed backhand player... spin and control was just ridiculously good.. I usually cut out strings after 5 hrs of playing so doesn't make any difference whether the string looses tension after days ,weeks ,etc.. At least with any Pro's pro strings I can afford to do that since the strings are cheap in price but not cheaply made (at least i think). I would definitely recommend these; go with 1.18 mm.

But with a 16x19 you should try the 1.24 before buying a reel!!

I have always used 17 g strings throughout my tennis life... so I just can't stand thicker strings then that.. maybe mental issue, i dont know LOL.. And i have many clients who are always trying to experiments so i keep quiet a few reels of Pro's Pro brand.

At the moment I'm trying Hyper-G 1.30 crossed with Eruption 1.24 and it plays mega good!!!
But I need to see how much time the magic stay... Because I want minimum 10 hours of good playability from my stringbed. And no quick breaking!!
I tried full bed of Eruption 1.24 and I broke it in less than 5 hours... But it was playing great!!

Does Eruption really play like Hyper-G? I tried main/cross = Eruption 1.18mm / Red Devil 1.19mm at 48 / 46lb, many times the ball could not be kicked up, and hit into the net. I need to play flater than with full bed Hyper G 17 or 16L 48/46.

It plays more like X-perience. But the playability duration and durability are crap...

I tried it and its a mix feeling when comparing it to hyper G. Hyper-G is firmer than Eruption and has noticeable spin production too cuz of the shape. Eruption in the other hand is the polar opposite of Hyper-G.
Another player that bought this string said it played the same for him. This could be because he's using a drop weight while I have a electronic stringer.

Just tested Eruption 1.24 in my Ezone DR100 @ 51 lbs
Had to go higher than my usual tension after struggling with X-Perience 1.18 @ 50 with lack of control (similar string)
At the beginning felt a little stiff (I actually hit with just a couple hours off the stringer, couldn’t wait) but after 30min of hitting it softened up and felt really good
By the time we started a match I was dialed in with the string. I played against someone below my level but I felt really good with my game, hitting loose and clean. I was ripping forehands and serves with good directional control and good spin.
Overall good string when fresh, let’s see how long it lasts

Eruption is more a kind of Signum Pro X-perience for the poor people...

I've played about 4 hours now with eruption 1.30 in my TC100 and so far it's been a good experience. I was expecting a sore wrist/elbow but no issue whatsoever. I strung it @25kg. Well the machine was set @25 but I was my 2nd string job so who knows what the real tension was.
Since it is a poly, spin is fine and strings snap back nicely. Not sure why, but my backhand feels really good with this string. So for me it is a keeper. Also have some 1.18 so that is next on the list.
Oh and weaving crosses with a 1.30 slick poly is a pain in the backside

I have used the green Eruption 1.18 on the TC100 63RA at 33/30 - it was surprisingly good. Pocketing feel was very nice and had no problems with control. The 1.18 was quite easy to string.

Well I cant comment on the black vs the green Version because I only have the black version. Strung the black up for my Buddy and he liked it a lot! I am going to try it myself to see how i like it. Will report back

I really like the green string, I tried the hyper G in 1.05, sublime, but the very sharp edges removed the coating of the multifeel when stringing. how to compare eruption with hyper g?
if we defined the strings, 0 being a super round, super slippery string (red code wax or yonex fire) .. and 10 being a very sharp angular string ... if hyper-G is 7/10, you would give how much to eruption? to signum Xperience? .. thanks

IMO about a 3-4, the black version is almost like a round poly.
