Pure Aero 23 vs EZONE 100 Sky blue

How would you compare these two rackets? In terms of spin, power, control and comfort?

I really liked playing with EZONE 100. I liked the balance and overall feel. Forgiving 100 head but nice launch angle, not too high.

Pure Aero 23 might actually be slightly denser than EZ100

EZ100 has double skips on last two mains while PA23 is one skip

i think tho how the Aero swings you can get more spin potential as I think PA23 will swing faster and be a little whippier. The EZ100 i think favors a straighter swing

written testimonials from other posters can only go so far. but cant really scratch that itch of curiosity. moral of this story. do a playtest head to head.

Played with both, pretty similar. Found the Aero to be better at groundies, Ezone to be better at everything else, probably worth considering if you play doubles. Aero felt large with it's roundish head, Ezone felt less chunky because the widest bit is further away from you. Ezone string sensitive, I got bad wrist pain from it, but I prefer firmer poly so take that with a grain of salt. Aero becomes trampoline-ish at lower string tensions, but is comfortable enough to run whatever tension you feel most familiar with.

To sum up: Aero more power, spin and comfort. Ezone though feels like a magic wand, ball always went where I wanted it and is probably right now the best doubles racket going, I just couldn't risk the wrist issues it gave me, and didn't want to spend weeks tinkering with strings to see if I could get around the issue.

Hope this helps!

Yes this really helps. Thank you.

I usually strung my rackets at 22kg (48.5 lbs). Would you consider it low tension or I am safe with 22kg even with PA23?
